Kazakhstan has opened air traffic with more than a dozen countries. They are divided into three categories.
The first category:
Those arriving from these countries will be subject to thermometry and questionnaires.

- South Korea,
- Japan,
- Georgia,
- Thailand,
- Hungary,
- India,
- Germany,
- Czech Republic,
- Malaysia,
- UAE,
- Belarus,
- Turkey,
- Egypt,
- Ukraine,
- Netherlands,
- Russia.
The second category:
Passengers from this category will be checked for temperature and questioned. In addition, in the presence of a PCR certificate of examination for COVID-19 with a negative result, from the moment of receipt of which no more than 5 days have passed while crossing the border of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the certificate), there will be no restrictions.
In the absence of a certificate, a laboratory examination for COVID-19 by the PCR method is required at the place of arrival (for foreign citizens), at the place of residence (for Kazakhstanis) within 48 hours from the date of arrival, with the delivery of a notification of the obligatory passage or home quarantine for 14 days.
- Poland,
- Uzbekistan,
- Tajikistan.
With the rest of the countries - the third category - regular flights are prohibited. Irregular (evacuation and charter) flights are possible. In this case, arrivals are subject to the same requirements as for passengers from the second category of countries.
