Mongolia is open for travellers again who are fully vaccinated and tested against Covid-19. There is no quarantine requirement if you are vaccinated and tested.
1. Persons arriving from abroad 14 days after receiving the full dose of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine or have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 4 months (must provide proof) are exempted from the 14 day self-isolation.
2. Persons who are not fully vaccinated or arriving within 14 days after receiving the full dose of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine or are unable to provide proof their recovery from COVID-19 within the last 4 months are subject to 14 day self-isolation.
3. Persons (excluding children of age 0-5) entering Mongolia are subject to PCR tests at the border checkpoints.
4. Persons entering Mongolia must present proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. In case of a positive PCR test, the passenger must present proof that they have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 4 months.
