Arnur.

Arnur is a personal driver based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He drives himself rather than working through a company or a team of other drivers.

He mostly arranges car-with-driver trips around Almaty city and day trips out to Altyn-Emel National Park, using a sedan (a KIA K5) for his transfers. Trips can run from a few hours in the city to multi-day journeys, with flexible timing and stops for photos, food or luggage along the way.

Arnur plans each trip around what the traveler wants rather than offering a fixed package: he discusses dates, destinations and budget directly with travelers, is upfront about what is and is not included in his price (fuel, meals and entrance tickets are usually paid separately), and can suggest hotels, guesthouses and places to visit even though he does not guide personally. He speaks Kazakh, Russian, English and Chinese, which helps with international travelers.

His own description to guests is simple: he takes care of the driving and the logistics so travelers can sit back and look at the landscapes.
