Artem and his brother Bogdan were excellent hosts for our visit to Shymbulak Chair Lift & a hike a the top of the mountian. Artem drove us there safely in a very comfy, large SUV and Bogdan shared info on the region and advice on our travels around Almaty. They are both very kind and professional guides. Highly recommend riding with Artem and working with these brothers! We had an excellent afternoon experiencing this part of Almaty with them. Thanks guys!
One of the Most Memorable Trips of My Life – Almaty Tour This recent trip to Almaty has become one of the most unforgettable journeys of my life. Setting foot in Kazakhstan for the first time, I was filled with a mix of excitement and anxiety. However, thanks to the guide and his brother, the entire experience turned out to be far safer, more relaxed, and more enjoyable than I could have hoped for. What impressed me most was the strong sense of trust they built through their professionalism and punctuality. Every transfer was executed precisely on time, and the guide’s outstanding driving skills shone not only on paved roads but also off-road. While other vehicles struggled with issues like flat tires or engine problems, our vehicle confidently navigated the rugged terrain without a hitch, providing comfort and safety throughout. Another highlight of the tour was the well-thought-out itinerary. Each stop was carefully planned, balancing activities, breaks, and the best photo spots perfectly. We were able to create lasting memories without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Thanks to the guide’s local connections, we also received unexpected kindness and support along the way—giving us a true taste of local hospitality. Beyond just leading the tour, the guide constantly showed kindness and thoughtful attention. He spoke fluent English, eliminating any language barrier, and took care of every little detail—from restroom breaks and cafés to restaurant choices and special requests. His warm and welcoming attitude, along with his brother’s, created a friendly atmosphere that gave us a wonderful first impression of Almaty. I already find myself wanting to return to Kazakhstan because of this experience. This wasn’t just a trip—it was a chance to encounter the true charm, culture, and heart of the people in Almaty. If you're looking to explore Almaty in a truly unforgettable and meaningful way, I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing guide and his brother. Once again, my deepest thanks—and I truly hope that more people get to experience a trip as incredible as this one.
Artem and his brother Bogdan were great for private tours. In fact, I was worried because there weren't many companies that offered Altyn-Emel tours when I visited Kazakhstan in early September. But fortunately, I met Artem and was lucky enough to visit Altyn-Emel National Park. I also visited Lake Issyk. Both tourist destinations are difficult to visit alone, but I think I had a successful trip because I met a great guide. Let's talk about the pros and cons.... 1. Although it is not included in the tour service, they provided pick-up service and luggage transfer service several times, which made the trip convenient. 2. They also accepted sudden tour requests well. 3. Communication through messenger apps is faster than other tour companies. 4. There is an off-road road on the way to Altyn-Emel National Park, and the driver's driving skills were excellent. 5. They kept taking pictures even when I didn't notice, so I got many great pictures. 6. The guide is very friendly. Also, communication in English is excellent, so there is no problem in communication at all. 7. It was nice to be able to have a great meal at a trustworthy restaurant during the tour. 8. Even though it was not a tour day, the guide kept taking care of me. Even when the tour was completely over and I was returning home, the guide asked me if I had arrived safely and cared for me. This impressed me. 9. In addition, this tour had many other great advantages. 1. It is a tour service with almost no disadvantages, but if I had to write one, it would be nice if they could provide specialized knowledge on geology or history for each tourist attraction (for example, when the rocks in the national park were formed, what kind of rocks they are made of, are there any interesting traditional stories related to the national park, etc.). Of course, we live in the age of the World Wide Web, but it would be nice to hear the explanation directly from the guide.
