Assylbek was an amazing host and guide. When our luggage didn’t make the flight to Aktau he liaised with the airline to get it back to us with minimal impact on our plans. He knew the local areas we wanted to visit extremely well and as photographers with a specific set of objectives he knew where we would be best placed to camp overnight for the best sunrise and sunset shots. Starting in the desert overnight was a fantastic experience and the nights were did this were comfortable and well catered for by Assylbek. His car was clean, mechanically well maintained and he had radios to contact others once of emergency. Really recommend Assylbek to anyone who is looking for a guide in the Mangystau region. A lovely person, knows the area looked after us exceptionally well.
