Absolutely excellent tour. Very well organised. We were picked up from hotel and take ln to border. The border crossing took less than 10 mins and then we were picked up by our guide from border. Very smooth and easy. The guide was excellent with lots of international experience. Saw the highlights of Bishkek as well as the national park. Would highly recommend as a daytrip from Almaty.

My family and I went on the private day trip from Almaty to Bishkek arranged by Azat in June 2026. The trip was safe and comfortable, everything went according to plan, Azat coordinated and communicated all the details very well. Our guide in Kyrgyzstan, Nurik, was a generous gentlemen who gave us a lot of insights about the country and way of life. It was a memorable experience, we visited the Burana archaeological site and the main attractions in Bishkek. I strongly recommend this tour for those who want a comfortable journey to get a glimpse of Kyrgyzstan.

Very honest review after our 2-week trip through Kyrgyzstan: Azat is a legitimate and trustworthy person to deal with. Communication was clear from the start, payments were straightforward, and he remained responsive throughout our trip whenever we needed assistance. His local contact in Kyrgyzstan was also consistently helpful during the journey. Unfortunately, our experience with the vehicle and equipment itself was disappointing. We rented a Mitsubishi Delica, which initially looked in good condition, but we quickly began noticing multiple issues. What started as minor defects turned into recurring problems almost every day, including loose bolts, loose handles, and other mechanical concerns that affected our confidence in the vehicle. Before departure, we shared our planned route with Azat and received approval. In our opinion, the vehicle was not suitable for the road conditions in Kyrgyzstan. During the trip, we had to visit a garage twice due to mechanical issues. On one occasion, the wheel suspension failed to the point where the wheel tilted significantly inward, making the totally undriveable. We couldn't use the car for 2 days. When we raised these issues, we were initially told that the damage was caused by reckless driving, which we strongly disagreed with. Given the conditions and our responsible driving behavior, we felt this accusation was unfair and not supported by evidence. We were also disappointed with the camping equipment provided. The table and chairs were broken, and the mattresses were very basic and uncomfortable. In hindsight, we would recommend skipping the camping package entirely and staying in yurts or guesthouses instead, which are widely available and often enhance the overall travel experience. One aspect that left a particularly bad impression was the vehicle return process. During the handover, a second representative, who had not been involved during the trip, joined the inspection. The vehicle was examined in great detail, and there was a strong focus on identifying issues and attributing responsibility to us. The atmosphere felt tense, a bit hostile and unprofessional, and we were concerned about the handling of the €600 security deposit. Ultimately, we only paid €20 for cleaning due to the interior not being fully clean. However, it felt like without our strong pushback, significantly higher charges could have been imposed. We strongly advise future renters to take extensive photos and videos of the vehicle before departure and to document everything during the trip. To be clear, Azat himself was reliable, responsive, and trustworthy in communication. Our concerns relate to the condition of the vehicle, the suitability for the terrain, the quality of the equipment, and the return inspection process. Overall, we felt the price-to-quality ratio was not in line with expectations. Given the price level, we expected higher standards in terms of vehicle condition and equipment. For reference, well-maintained 4x4 vehicles such as a Toyota Land Cruiser or Prado can typically be found in the range of $100–130 per day in Kyrgyzstan. We paid even more than that, for a non-suitable car. Nevertheless, our adventure in Kyrgyzstan was stunning.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. First of all, I appreciate that you mentioned I was responsive, trustworthy, and available throughout your trip. I am also happy to hear that you enjoyed your adventure in Kyrgyzstan. However, I would like to clarify several important points for future travelers. The Mitsubishi Delica is an older off-road vehicle that has been successfully rented by many customers over the years. Before every rental, each vehicle undergoes a full technical inspection. You were the first guests to report such extensive concerns regarding this vehicle. Before your trip, you shared your planned route with us, including Son-Kul, and we approved it. We also explained that the road to Son-Kul is one of the roughest roads in Kyrgyzstan and requires slow and careful driving. To make everything completely transparent, I will upload the GPS driving records together with a video of the exact road where the suspension was damaged. According to the GPS data, the vehicle was driven at approximately 60 km/h on sections where 15–20 km/h is the recommended speed because of very large potholes and ongoing road construction. These road conditions are well known locally. Driving at such speeds on this terrain can seriously damage any off-road vehicle. The suspension arm was damaged during the trip, and the repair cost us approximately $200. While the vehicle was being repaired, you continued your planned two-day horse trekking trip to Altyn Arashan, and we worked as quickly as possible to have the vehicle ready before you returned so that your travel plans were affected as little as possible. Several additional items were also returned damaged, including the rear hatch support, light mounts, and other interior parts. The folding camping table we provided was brand new and taken directly out of its original box before your rental, yet it was returned bent. We still did not charge you for any of these damages. Regarding your comment that you could have rented a Toyota Land Cruiser or Prado for the same price, I would like to clarify that this was entirely your choice. I never pressured you to rent this vehicle. You had all the pricing and vehicle information before booking, and you took almost a month to make your decision. You also mentioned that staying in yurts or guesthouses would have been a better option. However, for your group, accommodation in yurts would have cost at least €80 per night. Instead, I provided two ground tents and a complete camping equipment package for only €25 for the entire rental period, making it a much more affordable option. Regarding the vehicle return, we inspected the vehicle carefully because it had completed a demanding off-road journey. This is our standard procedure for every rental. The only amount charged was €20 for cleaning, as the vehicle was returned with a heavily soiled interior after the trip. As a gesture of goodwill, we decided not to deduct approximately $200 in repair costs or the cost of the damaged equipment from your €600 security deposit. We returned your full deposit and only charged the standard cleaning fee. This was a goodwill decision made specifically for your case and should not be interpreted as our general policy. I fully respect your opinion, and I understand that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, I also believe it is important for future travelers to know all the facts before forming their own opinion. I sincerely wish you all the best, and thank you again for visiting Kyrgyzstan.

azat arranged an amazing 2 day 1 night trip for me from almaty across the border and back, and honestly made the whole process completely stress free. he handled everything from transport, itinerary planning and organising the local guide, and the whole trip was highly customisable depending on what i wanted to see and do. i had a really good time throughout, and the driver also brought me to some incredible local dining spots that i never would’ve found on my own. communication was smooth the whole time and i really appreciated how flexible and accommodating everything was. i enjoyed the experience so much that i ended up going back again. definitely recommended if you want something personalised and easy without having to worry about the logistics.

I had so much fun on this trip. Azat did a great job of meeting with me the day before to discuss the details, and there are a number of very important ones (like how to cross the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border, how to communicate among the different drivers and guides, and where to meet Nurik the Kyrgyz guide you will actually spend your day with). I must praise Nurik, he really knows how to show the highlights of his country. The sites were right up my alley (essentially custom-planned for the tourist), the food was delicious, and the Ala Archa National Park was a stunning cherry on top of the trip. I highly recommend this tour if you're in Almaty and want to visit Bishkek in a day.

I really enjoyed the express 1-day tour from Almaty to Bishkek and Ala Archa National Park. It was arranged by Azat, who was very quick to respond to messages. There was a transfer driver (I had Ergali) from Almaty to the border and for the return, and a guide called Nurik on the Kyrgyz side. All of the pick-ups and transfers went smoothly and to time, and both Ergali and Nurik were great. There was a lot of driving, but that’s to be expected with this kind of tour, and the views of the mountains kept me entertained. The only thing that caused confusion was that it wasn’t clear to me that Azat wouldn’t be on the tour, and therefore asked to meet the previous day to exchange payment. Once this was clear everything was fine, and Azat kindly dropped off a memento of my trip at my hotel to collect when I got back. Thank you Azat, Nurik and Ergali for arranging a great trip!

I had a great experience in Kyrgyzstan because of Azat. From the time I booked a day tour from Almaty to Bishkek, I already knew that I would have a great time, even just for one day. The tour was very personal because he is from Bishkek, and he knows Bishkek very well. Had a great time having lunch with him at a local restaurant where I forgot the name hahaha. I had a chance to visit Ala Archa National Park as well, which is a must to see when visiting Bishkek. I will definitely come to Kyrgystan someday.
