Bekzat is based in Aktau and has been organizing tours across the Mangystau region for about six and a half years. He works with a small family team that handles everything from day trips to multi-day camping expeditions.
His specialty is the desert landscapes of Mangystau: the salt flats and canyons of Bozzhyra and Tuzbair, the Karynzharyk Depression, Sherkala Mountain, the Valley of Balls, and underground mosques like Karaman Ata and Beket Ata. Tours range from single-day outings to week-long jeep trips with camping, and he also arranges custom routes built around what travelers want to see.
Guests describe him as calm, well-organized and resourceful, someone who knows the terrain well enough to navigate without relying on maps, and who cooks traditional meals in the field. When conditions turned difficult on one trip, he adjusted plans quickly to keep guests comfortable.
Trips run in 4x4 vehicles such as Toyota Land Cruisers and Prados, with camping gear, meals and sometimes satellite internet included for remote stretches. Bekzat can also arrange airport pickup and drop-off, and plans itineraries around each group's timing and interests.

It was a wonderful experience. Our 4-day tour in Mangystau deeply impressed us at every stop, and we were amazed by Bekzat's preparation, his excellent equipment, and his ability to navigate entirely by memory. Since it was our first time in Asia and our first trip of this kind, we always felt safe and at ease, welcomed with great hospitality. Bekzat proved to be a calm, fun, and professional person, an expert driver, and a great cook: the traditional dishes he prepared made the tour even more authentic and immersive. Furthermore, when the wind became too strong on our third night, he handled the situation brilliantly, quickly organizing a prompt transfer to a hotel.
