Hello, my name is Gayrat and I am an experienced driver-guide from Khorog, Tajikistan. For almost 20 years, I have been working in tourism and have guided more than 2,000 travelers from all over the world across Tajikistan and the Pamir region. I speak Russian and Tajik, and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping them discover the beauty of my homeland. I offer all kinds of tours and experiences, including cultural trips, mountain adventures, nature tours, fishing trips, and journeys along the Pamir Highway. For me, every traveler is welcome, and I enjoy creating experiences for solo travelers, families, groups, photographers, and adventure seekers alike. I provide tours with my Toyota Land Cruiser 200, a comfortable and reliable vehicle that is perfect for mountainous roads and remote areas. My long experience and deep knowledge of the region help travelers feel safe, comfortable, and connected to local life throughout their journey. Driving in the mountains is part of my everyday life. Three times every week, I travel between Khorog and Dushanbe and back as part of my regular work. Because of this experience, I know the roads of Tajikistan extremely well and can drive confidently without relying on maps or GPS. Years of experience on these routes allow travelers to feel secure and trust my driving and navigation skills in all conditions. Most of my tourism experience has also been connected with the Silk Road region, where I have worked with many international travelers exploring the historical and cultural routes of Central Asia. This has given me valuable experience in hosting tourists from different countries and helping them experience the unique culture, traditions, and landscapes of the region. What I enjoy most about my work is showing the beauty of my home to the world and sharing the traditions, landscapes, and hospitality of Tajikistan with visitors. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities connected with tourism and nature, especially fishing and exploring the mountains.
