Wow! What an incredible 5 days travelling though the Pamir highway with Giyor. Words and photos don’t do this trip justice but if you’re looking for an off the beaten track adventure with the best driver money can buy look no further. Giyor was one of (if not the best) best drivers I have ever had in my travels around the world and he is also one of the most kind and compassionate people I’ve come across, with him helping broken down cars along the way or giving water to the border guards. The trip plan had to change due to weather and the new itinerary Giyor and Dily planned for me was something I will not forget. It was an absolute adventure on top of the world. I am so grateful for Giyor and the trip we shared together. I will be back and will book again in the future.

Our experience with Giyor was very positive. The booking process and sharing of information went smoothly, as did the car handover. His wife Dily was extremely kind and patient in providing us with all the information and answering our questions before our arrival. A couple of days after picking up the car, we had an unexpected mechanical issue. Fortunately, Giyor had another almost identical car available, and he drove for almost 24 hours non-stop to reach us and bring us the replacement car as quickly as possible. He was a real hero for getting there so fast. During our trip, we also passed through the area where he lives, and he took the car from us for a couple of hours to carry out some routine maintenance. This really showed us how much care and attention he puts into making sure everything is perfect. Highly recommended :)
