I would like to recommend you my unique tour, which will take place on June 19. "Kochmondor Kochu" which means Nomads' Migration. The tour consists of 4 days. We will show how the Kyrgyz migrate with their cattle. Day 1. Departure from Bishkek at 9 am. Lunch in Kochkor. Dinner in the village of Shoro. On the way we will see 2 passes (Kubaki 2160 m, Dolon 3030 m) and the beautiful Boom gorge and the Orto-Tokoy reservoir. Day 2. Breakfast in the village of Shoro. In the morning we will already begin a walking tour with the Nomads. You will see how the cattle drive begins. Dinner at the Shaty pass 4280 m. Where a panoramic view of 2 districts of the Naryn region opens up, on a large river in Kyrgyzstan, the Naryn River. On the other side, a panoramic view of the Tien Shan Mountains. Dinner at the forester's in the Karatal-Zhapyryk gorge. Day 3 Breakfast. In the morning we can see how cattle, horses, and cows are being searched for. After that, we begin a hike for cattle. Lunch at the 33-pougai pass. Dinner at the Son-Kul lake at the Aitbek yurt camp. On the way, we will see the Kazhyrty Waterfall. Day 4 Breakfast In the morning, a walk along the Son-Kul lake. Lunch, departure to Bishkek. You will see how nomads drive cattle nowadays.. Rocky Mountains Spruce forests Panoramic views, rivers, waterfalls, valleys gorge and much more beautiful nature where no tourists have seen. The necessary list of things for the tour: warm clothes, rain jacket, shoes for mountain walks, sleeping bag, backpack, flashlight, sunglasses, sunscreen with a factor of 20 - 30, personal medications. Tour difficulty: There are no technical difficulties on the route, but tourists must be physically prepared for hiking for 5-6 hours a day and climbing to an altitude of 4000 m. We were able to book on very last minute to a horse trekking tour to Song kul lake. Their communication whilst organising the tour in less than 24 hours was really good. We were able to do everything as per our itinerary at a good price. All the food was included and was very tasty. We also really enjoyed staying in the authentic local accommodation and were able to get to know a very lovely host family. However there are a few areas we would suggest for improvement: 1) Although they were aware that most of us had not ridden a horse before, they did not give us much instruction or guidance on how to ride the horses at all. They were also very limited on the adjustments that could be made to the stirrups and reigns, which meant the majority of us were very uncomfortable on these long horse rides. 2) We would’ve appreciated more regular updates on the daily plan, as we were often the ones asking what was going on. Unfortunately their interpreter was not able to join the trip as we booked it so last minute, but we did have a Russian speaker in our group so communication was possible but not prioritised by our guides. 3) Punctuality - We would often leave 1-2 hours later than the time we were told to be ready for, which meant we were waiting around a lot in the mornings and got back after dark on arrival to Song-kul, which felt a bit unsafe and we weren’t able to appreciate the views after a long day of horseriding. 4) We needed to hire sleeping bags for the tour, which they kindly organised for us. However they did not explain the costs upfront and we ended up having to pay for 5 days even though we only used them for 3 nights, which cost 500 KGS per day! Overall it was a good tour as we were able to see everything we wanted especially at short notice, however it could’ve been better organised with better communication and timekeeping.

In total there were 6 clients from different countries. Some were positive, some were not, no matter how hard we tried. On a horse, I would say, they don’t know how to manage at all. It was very difficult to teach everyone. Overall, I think it was good.
