My name is Samuel, everyone calls me Sam, I have been a local tour guide in Madagascar since 2013. I was born in the town of Morondava Madagascar, May 17th 1992. I am proud to be 100% Malagasy! Thank you for considering me as your guide!

Day-explore The Red Tsingy In The North Of Madagascar

How is it possible that nobody else is here while it is such a beautiful and accessible park?
We will drive out of the city away to the South East of Antsiranana, about 45miles, where we can enjoy the Red Tsingy reserve and other secrets of the nature and geology of the top of the Madagascar.
This is one of the most impressive sites of the northern region, the red tsingy are distinguished by landscapes of red earth. Located on the plateau of Sahafary, they culminate at 200 meters above sea level. To see this Farwest-style scenery, we'll use a comfortable private car to take a road trip down the winding roads to the north.
You will discover an incredible pastel and blood-red decor here stratified in rock gradients, photogenic panoramas of rocks. Did you know that their colors change according to the time of day? Also we'll visit the canyons and beautiful views, to the various tsingy with green forest and mountains behind it. Definitely I recommend it!

ITINERARY:
Day 1: Morondava - Kirindy
8:00 am - Pickup from hotel in Morondava. Journey through Baobab Alley and pause for photos.
11:00 am - Arrive at Kirindy Village, check-in, and have lunch at the hotel.
6:30 pm - Night walk to spot lemurs and other wildlife.
Overnight at a hotel.
Day 2: Kirindy - Bekopaka
7:00 am - Depart from the hotel to see other lemurs, sifaka, red-fronted lemurs, fossa, etc.
9:00 am - Cross the river by ferry at Belo sur Tsiribihina.12:00 pm - Savour lunch at a traditional restaurant.
4:00 pm - Arrive at your hotel.
Day 3: Tsingy Visit
Begin at 7 am to explore Big and Small Tsingy all day. Return to your hotel for the night.
Day 4: Bekopaka - Morondava
7:00 am - Depart from your hotel for a boat trip through Manambolo Gorge.
Stop by Baobab Sacred and Baobab.
Enjoy the sunset at Baobab Avenue.
7:00 pm - Return to Morondava for an overnight stay at your hotel, where your tour concludes.

Laurent Samuel is the worst dishonest bad guide we have ever met! Our tour turned out to be a disaster due to the following reasons: 1. Laurent Samuel overcharged our trip 2.5 times that of the average available! 2. He was totally untrustworthy, purposely reducing the good viewpoints in the agreed itinerary! 3. He lied by saying that time was not enough time for or the road was not possible for the agreed viewpoints! 4. He just dropped us off in the viewpoints and then went off to take pictures himself! 5. His explanation was minimal with poor English! 6. His attitude was poor and scolded us for not thankful for his “good service” at the end of the trip! 7. On the first day of the trip, the travel time was reduced by 2.5 hour by lying that the agreed viewpoints were too far and impossible to reach! 8. On the second day, he told us to pay $100 more to get back some of the cancelled but agreed viewpoints which were finally completed in a more than rush and poor way! 9. At the end of the trip, we were threatened and thus had to pay him totally $50 more! Laurent Samuel due to his dishonest, impolite, harmful and attitude should never be our guide and advised to be avoided by all means! We demand refund of the $50 overcharge payed under threatening!
