I am an outdoor and wildlife enthusiast, with over 20 years of experience of working in conservation and a PhD in bird ecology. I grew up in a family of biologists and as a kid spent all summers in a nature reserve in Kazakhstan, where my parents worked. My childhood introduced me to the outdoors and wildlife, and so far, I have managed to combine these personal interests and hobbies with my work in conservation in Central Asia, where i have spent many years studying and conserving wildlife. For the last 8 years, i have been based in Kyrgyzstan, where i have been driving, hiking, horse-riding and cycling extensively for work and leisure. Recently i decided to spend even more time in the amazing landscapes of the region and started guiding tours, which i enjoy very much. I am happy to share my deep knowledge and passion for the region's beautiful landscapes, amazing wildlife and unique culture!
