Being an important and developed part of Bactrian, Greek-Bactrian and Kushan states in the past, the region where I live Surkhandarya owes hundreds of unique archaeological sites from the Antique times as fortresses of Alexander's times, unrepeated cult Buddhist monasteries' ruins, Mausoleums of great Suffi scholars reflecting the beauty of Muslim architectural schools and also fascinating nature of our mountains which are full of interesting passes, grotos and water falls. And I'm sure you will enjoy watching the fully ethnographic lifestyle of southern ethnic tribes living in the far mountainous villages of our region.
