Sarvar was a valuable asset to our vacation in Uzbekistan. Helpful and reliable, he accompanied us on our tour of the fortresses, enriching it with many interesting anecdotes.
Unfortunately our tour was not a good experience. The tour was very expensive (95euro) which we hoped would mean that we would have an experienced guide and we would learn a lot about Samarkand. The guide Sarvar arranged was very inexperienced and spent a lot of time trying to sell other tours to us. He wasn’t able to tell us any history or information about the sights we visited. Sometimes he simply read the tourist information boards to us. We understand that new guides need to gain experience but they should not be charging 95euros.
Very good service. Sarvar is an excellent guide. The excursion was very interesting and his explanations were very useful. He's a very nice person.
