Sarvarbek runs a small tour company based in Urgench, in Uzbekistan's Khorezm region. He started out in tourism as a driver before building a company that now organizes day trips and multi-day routes across Khorezm and the Aral Sea area.
The team specializes in visits to the ancient desert fortresses of Khorezm, such as Ayaz Kala, Tuprak Kala, Kyzyl Kala and Guldursun Kala, as well as trips to the Aral Sea and Muynak. Itineraries often combine fortress stops with the Savitsky Museum in Nukus, Mizdakhan Necropolis and the Muynak ship cemetery, and many routes link Khiva, Bukhara and Nukus as multi-day overland journeys with an overnight stay at a desert yurt camp.
Trips run with a private sedan, or a sedan plus off-road vehicle for the Aral Sea routes, and include audio-guide material for the sites visited. Sarvarbek and his team work directly with travelers to set the starting point, number of days and stops, adding a yurt night or extra fortresses on request. Cars typically carry up to three or four people.
