Sheroz is a freelance driver based in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

He focuses on day trips around Samarkand, showing travelers the city's main sights along with local food, markets and souvenirs. He also arranges longer drives further afield, including the route to Bukhara, and can handle transfers to border crossings such as Jartepa for travelers continuing into Tajikistan.

Trips are kept simple and private. Sheroz meets travelers at the railway station or wherever is convenient, works out pickup times and routes directly with each guest, and is flexible on dates, including arranging trips outside the usual season when asked. He communicates directly with travelers to confirm the plan before the trip, covering fuel and meals as part of the arrangement.

This is a one-man operation built around flexible, point-to-point driving rather than fixed group tours.
