The tour was FANTASTIC! FYI, Meg does NOT go with you. She’s just the middle man and hooks you up with a driver. I didn’t know this and was caught off guard when I learned that she wasn’t coming. She specifically told me that the drivers are not guides, just drivers, and their English will be proficient enough to give you the basic itinerary. However the driver she hooked us up with, Anand, was incredible. He’s completely fluent in English and went above and beyond his driver duties to work as a real guide for us. He drove us to many places that weren’t on the scheduled tour, he volunteered a lot of information about the things we were seeing and was flexible when we wanted to change some of the lodging at the last minute. He made the trip fun, comfortable and informative. If you book with Meg, I would recommend specifically requesting Anand as your driver/guide. He was the absolute best.
Meg was very accommodating with our plans, and was happy to adjust on the fly if we want to stay somewhere else or do a different activity. Can recommend if you would lie an authentic experience staying with Nomadic families. Be as clear as possible with the kind of experience you are looking for and Meg will be able to help you.
We traveled from Japan to Mongolia and had a great experience with Meg.
