10 Days Journey To Songkul Issyk-kul Alakul
About this tour
My name is Atai and i am local tour guide and driver, i will be happy to help you experience the traditional Kyrgyztan. In this trip we are to start from Bishkek Airport going to Karakol, Alakkol-lake (Tian Shian mountains chain) trek with horses, afterwards visiting Issyk-kol and Songkul lakes, we will sleep in yurt tents, meet local people, play games near bonfire and eat traditional kyrgyz dishes
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Day 1: Airport pick up. Short Bishkek city tour- we will see Osh Bazaar Lunch/dinner & traditional Kyrgyz concert at Supara national ethnic restaurant(there will be a little show programm) then we will see the panorama(place on top of the mountain, we will see whole Bishkek city). Overnight at Bishkek hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to "Ala-Archa", Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Day2: Hike to Ala Archa National park, trekking to waterfall (8 hours) , lunch at Alaarcha park(for lunch we suggest "Shashlik" meet on grill) then we will head to Tashtar ata shamanistic place. Dinner at local restaurant "Faiza". Overnight at Bishkek hostel "white".
Day 3: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
Day 3: Transfer after the breakfast to Son Kul lake, 450 km-7 hours of road - we are to be there by evening. Overnight at national Yurt near the lake and dinner there.
Day 4: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan
Day 4: After the nice morning walk we will start the Horseriding for 2 hours for the panoramic spot to see the lake from a mountain. After this horseriding we will have lunch and start the way to Cholpon-ata. 250 km - 5 hours of road. Overnight in a nice guesthouse.
Day 5: Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan to Grigorievka, Kyrgyzstan
Day 5: Transfer to Karchyn Gorge where the World noman games were held, we are to have picnic lunch there, afternoon we will drive to the best lakeshore place - beach of the Issykkul and relax by the lake. Lunch/dinner & overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Grigorievka, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
Day 6: Chon Oruktuu hot springs swimming for hour -drive to Karakol - then drive to Jeti Oguz national park. Dinner & Overnight in a guesthouse or in a national Yurt. Lunch on the way and dinner( kuurdak in the Karakol).
Day 7: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Barskoon, Kyrgyzstan
Day 7: Barskoon waterfalls- horseriding for two hours to see three beautiful waterfalls. Overnight in yurt or guesthouse
Day 8: Barskoon, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
Day 8: drive to Karakol gorge and mountains, Overnight in tent camp. We will start amazing 2 day hike "Karakol gorge-Alakul-Altyn arashan"
Day 9: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Ala-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
Day 9- lake Alakol hike, we will hike to Alakol lake -5 hours and go down to Altyn arashan where will stay at guest house. Overnight in guest house.
Day 10: Ala-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan
Day 10- Altyn arashan exploration, hot springs etc. After it we will start the way back to Bishkek. On the way - quick drive to Fairytale canyon - Bokonbaevo yurt camp. We will arrive to Bishkek at night and finish the tour.
