Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Meeting at airport in the evening and Transfer to the hotel. Free time for exchange, local Sim cards in the evening. Night in hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chong-Kemin National Park, Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek-Chon Kemin valley, 150 km: Start 9:00. Drive to Ala Archa National Park. Walking around. Transfer to Chon Kemin mountains. Stop to visit Burana Tower and museum nearby Tokmok city, historical place with buildings at 12th century. Arrival to Karool Dobo, and check in to mountain guest house. The hotel situated at the foot of Ala Too mountain range at 2300 m alt. , Best place with fresh air and good acclimatization for the guests. Hiking to the panoramic view , meeting with local people, free time. Have a dinner made by the local family. Guest house with breakfast: twin/triple rooms, shower, wifi.
Day 3: Chong-Kemin National Park, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
Chonkemin Karakol, 300 km: Start at 8:00. Morning transfer Karakol city by the north shore of Issyk-Kul lake. The pearl of Central Asia, 2nd biggest mountain lake in the world. In Boom gorge we will stop to visit Konorchek Canyons, beautiful Canyons from very old volcano in Central Asia. We hike on the dried up river between two big rocks. Lunch on the way. Stop to visit petroglyphs near to Cholpon Ata city. Stop to swim on beautiful place on the way. Arrival to Karakol and check in to hotel. In the city, we Stop to visit Dungan mosque, orthodox provo slavic church. Dinner at restaurant. Hotel with breakfast: twin/triple rooms, shower, wifi.
Day 4: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan
Altyn Arashan-4×4 Russian Truck expedition. Start at 9:00. Meeting with Russian driver at hotel. Off-Road driving 23 km. Beautiful alpine mountains. At the end of the valley we stop to swim in natural hot springs +40 degrees. Hiking around and back to Karakol. Lunch at mountain hut. Check in same hotel. Dinner.
Day 5: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Kok Jaiyk valley, Dzhetyoguz, Kyrgyzstan
Horseback riding in KokJaiyk valley to Devichiy Kosy waterfall, 8km, 3-4 hours horse trek. Start at 9:00. We will keep our lunch boxes and Transfer to Jety-Oguz valley. On the way stop to Broken Heart, Seven Bulls Canyons. Arrival to Kok Jaiyk pasture and Start for the horseback riding tour. Back to the car. Check in to guest house. Dinner.
Day 6: Jety - Oguz, Kyrgyzstan to Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan
Jety Oguz-Bokonbaevo, 130 km: Start at 8:00. Transfer by south shore of the Issyk Kul lake. Visit to Skazka Canyons. Barskoon valley and waterfall. Arrival to Bokonbaevo and meeting with eagle hunter, demonstration of the traditional hunting, archery experience and taigan show (kyrgyz national dog). We can stop at the wild beach and enjoy swimming in Issyk Kul lake. Check in to yurt camp. Dinner.
Day 7: Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan to Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan
Son kul lake 3016 m altitude, 310 km: Start at 8.00. Transfer by south shore of the Issyk kul lake. Stop to hike in aksai canyon, 1h, similar to Mars planet. Transfer to Song-Kol lake via Kalmak Ashuu pass at 3440 m altitude. You could see rest of real nomads only in Song-Kol lake, men all day long they ride horses and graze the cattle, which they collected from closer villages. Women are taking care of children and do house work: clean, cook,bake bread, make delicious butter and other dairy products from cow and horse milk. Arrival to yurt camp. Yurt camp with breakfast: 3-4 people in 1 yurt. Toilet is outside.
Day 8: Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan
Song Kol lake horseback riding, 4-5 hours riding: breakfast in yurt. We will take kyrgyz horses and day expedition to the mountains top around. We will meet so much local nomads with animals. You can gallop on the steppes. Evening, drive back to Kochkor town via Kalmak Ashuu pass. Visit to hand made souvenir shop. Check in to guest house. Dinner.
Day 9: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek, 210 km: Transfer back to Bishkek. Check in to hotel and the end of the tour. Free time in Bishkek.
Day 10: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Transfer to Airport.
