Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Elsen Tasarkhai, Högönö-Taranaiin-Hüree, Mongolia
We reach Khogno Khan's magnificent stone structures. The park's discovery: This arid region known as the "Mini-Gobi" is characterized by semidesert steppes, taiga, spectacular rocky formations, and 80 kilometers (49,71 miles) long sand dunes. The "Monk Erdene's Monastery" was erected in the mountain in the seventeenth century. It was erected by Zanabazar in memory of the monk Erdene, his mentor. Day 2: Elsen Tasarkhai, Högönö-Taranaiin-Hüree, Mongolia to Orkhon Valley, Mongolia

Day 3: Orkhon Valley, Mongolia
Visit to the Ulan Tsutgalan Falls, where a brief sunbeam turns the white river that is flowing on the black stone into a rainbow. These falls that drop 16 meters (52,49 ft) are quite spectacular! They were created 20.000 years ago as a result of a rare occurrence of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. Accommodation: Yurt for guests next to herder family
Day 4: Orkhon Valley, Mongolia
Staying at the valley herders. You will learn about their way of life throughout your stay and be given the option to participate in a variety of activities, including milking cows, producing traditional dairy products, and using a horse to herd the animals. Day 5: Orkhon Valley, Mongolia to Khujirt, Mongolia
On the way to khujirt we will visit Tovkhon Monastery. At the summit of the revered peak Shireet Ulaan, Tovkhon Monastery is located at a height of 2312 meters (1,4 mile) above sea level. It is located in the sum of Bat Ulzii in the province of Ovorkhangai. It dominates the Orkhon Valley and is encircled by rocky outcrops and larches woods. Accommodation: Yurt guest house.
Day 6: Khujirt, Mongolia to Ongi Monastery, Mongolia
Let's explore the museum and the location, which is well known as the Ong lamasery. One thousand lamas were living in the residences and monasteries that the Soviets nearly entirely demolished in 1937. Day 7: Ongi Monastery, Mongolia to Flaming Cliffs, Mongolia
Visit the "cemetery of dragons" located on the Bayanzag cliffs, also known as "flame cliffs" today due to its ochre red color. The cliffs and the saxaul forests that surround them serve as reminders of the time when enormous dinosaurs still roamed the planet. The first person to find certain dinosaur bones and eggs that are now on display in the Natural History Museum of Ulan Bator and other museums across the world was palaeontologist Roy Andrews Chapman in 1922. Day 8: Flaming Cliffs, Mongolia to Khongoriin Els, Mongolia
Visit to the Khongor dune system. These dunes are the most impressive in all of Mongolia. They are more than 180 km (111,85 mi) long and 20 km (12,43 mi) wide, with an average height of 80 m (262,47 ft) and maximum height of 120 m (393,70 ft). Accommodation: Yurt next to herder family
Day 9: Khongoriin Els, Mongolia
The view of the desert from the summit is very breathtaking. The shifting sand dunes may also be heard from this location, earning the moniker "singing dunes." The steppe stretches as far as the eye can see beyond the sand dunes. Accommodation: Yurt next to herder family
Day 10: Khongoriin Els, Mongolia to Yol valley, Ice stream, Mongolia
To get to the canyon area, follow the path that leads east of "the Three Beauties." Dungenee Canyon is a stop. We get out of the car and begin our first magnificent stroll along the river that snakes through two enormous valleys. hiking through Yol Canyon, home of the bearded vultures. We will proceed down the canyon's bottom, which is constantly covered with snow. Because of the canyon's steep sides, it's only in August that sunlight causes the ice to melt. Day 11: Yol valley, Ice stream, Mongolia to Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), Mongolia
We drive to one of Mongolia's most desolate regions. We arrive at the white stupa, Tsagaan Suvarga, between rock desert and semi-arid steppes. The Mongolians have long revered this steep, stupa-shaped peak that rises 30 meters (98,43 ft) high. The lavish lunar sceneries, which seem to portend the end of the earth, and the abundance of fossils will astound the traveler. A few million years ago, the sea completely covered this area. Day 12: Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), Mongolia to Baga Gazriin Chuluu Mountain, Choiri-sume, Mongolia
Mountain excursion Baga Gazriin Chuluu, where we'll see stunning granite rocky formations eroded by the area's violent elements. Two respected lamas lived here in the nineteenth century, and their inscriptions in the rock can still be seen today. According to legend, Genghis Khan also lived in this beautiful area where it is pleasant to walk. Accommodation: Tent camping
Day 13: Baga Gazriin Chuluu Mountain, Choiri-sume, Mongolia to Terelj, Mongolia
Travel to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, a truly beautiful green setting at the capital's doorstep: rocky formations sculpted by erosion, mountains tree-filled with pines, plains scattered with wild flowers and edelweiss, rivers and lakes. We will stop at Turtle Rock and walk until we reach Aryaval Monastery. Accommodation: at tourist camp
Day 14: Terelj, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
On the way back to ulaanbaatar we will stop at the equestrian statue of Genghis Khan was erected in 2008 to commemorate the Mongolian Empire's 800th anniversary and to honor its founder, Genghis Khan. This massive stainless steel statue weighs 250 tons and stands 40 meters (131 feet) tall: it is the world's tallest statue depicting a man on horseback. Tsonjin Boldog is located 54 kilometers (33,55 miles) from Ulan Bator on the banks of the Tuul River.
