Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Islamabad, Pakistan to Naran Valley, Naran, Pakistan
Drive via Hazara Motorway & Kaghan Valley, with short stops at Balakot & Kiwai. Overnight in Naran.
Day 2: Naran Valley, Naran, Pakistan to Gilgit
Drive via Babusar Pass (4,173m), visit Lulusar Lake, scenic stops at Babusar Top, descend to Chilas, and continue to Gilgit.
Day 3: Gilgit to Karimabad
Visit the Rakaposhi viewpoint, continue along the Karakoram Highway to Hunza, evening free in Karimabad.
Day 4: Karimabad
Visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, Karimabad Bazaar, and Duikar (Eagle’s Nest) for sunset.
Day 5: Karimabad to Passu
Explore Attabad Lake, boating, Hussaini Suspension Bridge, Passu Cones, and Borith Lake.
Day 6: Hunza Nagar to Khunjerab National Park
Full-day trip to Khunjerab Pass (Pak-China Border, 4,693m), return to Hunza.
Day 7: Hunza Nagar to Astore
Drive via Gilgit, and turn for Astore and stay overnight
Day 8: Astore to Skardu
Drive through Deosai National Park with a short stay at Sheosar Lake, Bara Pani, and Kaala Pani on the way to Skardu. Overnight in Skardu
Day 9: Skardu to Shangrila Resort Skardu, Skardu
Visit Shangrila Resort (Lower Kachura Lake), Upper Kachura Lake, Katpana Cold Desert, and Skardu Bazaar.
Day 10: Skardu to Shigar
Explore Shigar Fort, Amburiq Mosque, Blind Lake, and Sarfaranga Cold Desert.
Day 11: Skardu to Khaplu
Visit Khaplu Fort, Chaqchan Mosque, Saling Bridge, and engage in cultural exploration.
Day 12: Khaplu to Hushe
Drive to Hushe Valley (gateway to Masherbrum & Gondogoro), light walk/hike, return or overnight depending on plan.
Day 13: Khaplu to Skardu
Back to Skardu
Day 14: Skardu to Skardu International Airport, Skardu
