Welcome reception on arrival at the federal capital of Pakistan and transfer to hotel. Go for a tour in the afternoon to see the twin cities of Islamabad & Rawalpindi. Visit Faisal Mosque, the landmark of Islamabad. Visit Daman-e-Koh on top of the hill for a panoramic view of Islamabad. Drive on Constitution Avenue to see the President's House, Parliament, Supreme Court & other state buildings. Overnight at the hotel.
Drive to Besham, making a stop at Taxila, the historic capital of the Buddhist Gandhara civilization. Known as one of the most significant archaeological sites in South Asia, Taxila offers a glimpse into ancient history. Explore the remnants of an old city (Kirkup) and visit the Julian Monastery, which stands atop a hill, showcasing the region’s rich Buddhist heritage. The journey also includes a visit to the Taxila Museum, home to a remarkable collection of artifacts unearthed from various excavation sites. Among its treasures, you can find gold and silver coins dating back to Alexander the Great’s invasion in 326 BC, as well as those from local rulers of the time.
Start the morning with a scenic drive along the Karakoram Highway to Gilgit, the capital of northern Pakistan. Cross the Chinese-built bridge at Thakot and enter the Indus River gorge, once a vital part of the ancient Silk Route. Along the way, see centuries-old rock carvings, including the famous Shatial carvings. Stop in Chilas for lunch before reaching Thalichi, where you’ll get breathtaking views of Nanga Parbat (8,125 m), the world's 9th highest peak, along with Rakaposhi (7,788 m) and the Haramosh range. Continue north to witness the dramatic confluence of the Karakoram, Himalayas, and Hindukush mountain ranges, where the Gilgit and Indus Rivers meet. Follow the Gilgit River to the city for an overnight hotel stay.
Drive back on the Karakoram Highway to Raikot Bridge, then switch to 4x4 jeeps for an adventurous ride to Tatto Village. From there, begin a scenic trek to Fairy Meadows at the base of Nanga Parbat (8,125 m), known as "The Killer Mountain." After an hour’s walk, catch the first glimpse of the peak. After a three-hour trek, arrive at the stunning, green Fairy Meadows. Overnight stay at the camp.
Spend the day at Fairy Meadows, with an option to trek to Beyal Camp and Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Cross the glacier, enjoy a packed lunch at the base camp, and take in breathtaking views of Nanga Parbat, its glacier, and the surrounding pine forests. Return to Fairy Meadows for an overnight stay.
Trek 2-3 hours from Fairy Meadows to Tatto and take a jeep to Raikot Bridge. Drive to Gilgit, crossing a suspension bridge to enter the town via the historic route. Visit the 7th-century rock-carved Buddha at Kargah, once a Buddhist monks’ travel route to Taxila. Explore Gilgit’s vibrant bazaars before continuing to Hunza via the scenic Silk Route. Stop at Rakaposhi (7,788 m) before reaching Karimabad, the capital of Hunza. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Enjoy a free day in Karimabad with a short walk to Altit and Baltit Forts and explore the Hunza Valley. Admire stunning views of Karakoram peaks like Rakaposhi, Diran, Ultar, and Golden Peak, along with the Nagar Valley. Experience Hunza’s self-sufficient lifestyle, where locals grow their own food and craft essentials. In the afternoon, walk to the Ultar Glacier or explore the bazaar for breathtaking mountain views. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Take a scenic drive through the Karakoram, stopping at Gulmit village beneath the stunning Gulmit Tower. Walk through village fields, visit the polo ground, and explore old houses. Trek to Gulkin Glaciers and Borit Lake before driving to Passu, a charming village with the iconic Passu Cones in the background. Explore the village, walk to Passu Glacier and Passu Lake, and enjoy breathtaking views of Shispar and Passu Peak. Visit the famous 800-foot suspension bridges over the Hunza River. Overnight stay at a lodge.
Drive back to skardu via baltistan highway
Have breakfast at the hotel before driving to Khaplu. Stop at scenic spots along the way and enjoy lunch en route. Check in at the hotel and visit Khaplu Fort, followed by a trip to Thoksikhar viewpoint. End the day with dinner and rest at the hotel.
Drive from Khaplu to Shigar Valley, visiting the historic Amburiq Mosque and Shigar Fort. Continue the journey back to Skardu for an overnight stay.
Drive back to chilas and stay in chilas , stop at 3 junction mountain view point.
Drive back to Islamabad, 10 hr drive
Enjoy a full-day tour of Islamabad, exploring its key attractions. Visit Faisal Mosque, Pakistan’s largest and most iconic mosque. Explore Daman-e-Koh for panoramic city views. Visit Pakistan Monument and Lok Virsa Museum to learn about the country’s culture and history. Stroll around Rawal Lake or Saidpur Village for a relaxing experience.
