20 Days Adventure, 15 days strenuous trek, 15 nights camping and 6 nights in hotels. Maximum Elevation 5,700 meters
Situated in the heart of Karakoram range is Shimshal, the remotest valley in the whole range. The mountains are some of the toughest, with some of the high virgin peaks lying here. You start the trip in Islamabad and drive on legendary Karakoram Highway to Skardu, Askolil, from where we take soft top 4x4 jeeps to enter to reach the main village - Askoli in the valley. From the village it is 11 days trek to the summer settlement, towering above 6050m Peak Manglik Sar and two lakes and flower filled meadows roamed by Yaks. After rest at meadows, we take a 2 days trek toward Chikar the right over Shimshal Pass then reached Shimshal village.

What's included
Cost Includes Accommodation: On twin sharing basis at standard category hotels in towns, 02 person dome tent During the trek. Meals:half board at hotels, Full board during the trek. Transport: Air conditioned transport on Karakoram Highway, Soft top 4x4 jeeps to trek head. Camping Facilities:Dome tents with matrices, dining tent floor seating, a kitchen tent with complete Kitchenette and Staff, toilet tent. Portage: High Porter for the cross pass and Low Porter from Askoli to Karfokaro then high Altitude Porter carry a load to Shimshal Valley. Kitchen staff: 01 Chief /Cook. 01 Helper. Guide: A Experience English speaking Mountain guide.
Cost Does Not Include: Domestic/International airfare and airport taxes. Any expense due to forced measures, cancellation of flight, landslides, natural calamities, acts of God, forced majors: beyond the control of Rock Valley Tours, their staff and suppliers. Any expense of personal nature not mentioned above. Trekking Terms and Conditions: Every member must keep his/her CNIC, Passport A member should have to report 24 Hour before departure time. Only 10 Kg Cargo bags are allowed & every member is responsible and has to carry his/her own luggage. Member must have to behave ethically with his/her fellow group members; Otherwise, Company can cancel his/her membership at any time. The company is not responsible for personal injuries and accidents. The company is not responsible for the loss of any kind of valuable item. No returns will be made in case of cancellation of the booking. However, the Company may cancel the booking at any time. A company can change terms and conditions at any time. The client must understand to abide by the rules & regulation & by-laws of the company, to be enforced from time to time. The client must understand that the adventure/outdoor activities carry a potential risk of personal injury. He/She further undertake that neither He/She nor any of their heirs or legal representatives shall raise any compensation from the company./International airfare and airport taxes. If any member leaves the trek at any stage, the organization will not be liable to refund the payment. TERMS & CONDITIONS. Using drugs or intoxication of any kind is strictly prohibited. If anyone is caught using any kind of substance on buses or during the trip will be expelled from the trip on the spot. That person will not be eligible for any kind of refund. We reserve the right to cancel the trip without prior notice for any reasons deemed appropriate by them. In such a case the registered participants will receive a full refund. On adventure trip of this type, weather, local politics, transport or a multitude of other factors beyond the control of organizers can result in a change of itinerary. It is, however, very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered; if alterations are necessary the Leader of the group and Guide will decide what the best alternative is, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group Smoking in the transport is strictly prohibited. Participants must hold a valid Computerized CNIC/Passport Card. Time management/punctuality is strictly recommended. Participants are advised to use Non-Slippery Shoes/Boot/Joggers/DMS. Participants must NOT wear Heel/Dress Shoes. On steep ascends in mountainous areas, air-conditioned of the buses will be operational on a one-off basis to keep the vehicles from overheating. The RVT will not be responsible for any injury/damage/loss.
