Wildlife

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, Zanzibar, Tanzania to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Today's adventure begins with a morning flight departing from Zanzibar at 8:00 a.m. for Arusha Airport. Upon arrival in Arusha by 9:00 a.m., your driver guide will be ready to greet you and lead you on a journey to Tarangire National Park, where captivating wildlife encounters await. Your overnight accommodations will be provided at the lodge. Both lunch and dinner will be catered for, and each person will receive a daily supply of drinking water. The park's splendor is particularly evident during the dry season (June - November) when wildlife congregates around the Tarangire River, its primary water source. This convergence rivals the famed Serengeti in terms of wildlife density. The park's diverse ecosystems, coupled with the perennial water source of the Tarangire River, provide a home for over 2000 elephants and 500 species of birds.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park, Tanzania to Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

After your morning meal, you'll embark on a descent into the crater for an exciting game tour. Following that, you'll journey back to Karatu for an overnight stay. Your day's sustenance, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, will be taken care of. Additionally, a daily supply of drinking water per person will be provided. Often hailed as the 8th Natural Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater stands as the world's largest intact crater. Around 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, leading to the collapse of its walls. Amidst this wildlife haven, the Masai people can often be spotted tending to their cattle, coexisting with buffalo herds and wildebeests.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, Zanzibar, Tanzania

Following breakfast today, your safari guide will collect you for an excursion to Lake Manyara National Park, where you'll embark on a game drive. Later, your journey will take you back to Arusha, followed by a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Lake Manyara National Park, though petite, boasts captivating features such as its famed tree-climbing lions, herds of elephants, and bustling troops of baboons. Despite its compact dimensions, the park boasts an astonishing diversity of birds and animals. A brief sojourn in this tranquil park will profoundly augment your safari adventure, given its lush, green jungle habitat that starkly contrasts with the environments of other parks on your itinerary.
