About Kel-Suu

Hidden deep in the mountains of the Naryn Region, near the Chinese border, Kel-Suu is considered one of the most remote and breathtaking lakes in Central Asia.

Located at an altitude of around 3,500 meters, the lake stretches between massive canyon walls, creating scenery that feels more like another planet than anywhere else in the world. Depending on the season and water level, the shape and color of the lake constantly change — from deep turquoise to dark blue reflections hidden between the cliffs.

Getting there is part of the adventure itself:

wild mountain roads, endless valleys, rivers, passes, horseback riding, and complete silence far away from civilization.

This is not just a trip.

It’s a real expedition into the untouched nature of Kyrgyzstan.

Day 1 — Bishkek → Naryn

* Morning departure from Bishkek

* Scenic drive through mountain passes and nomadic valleys

* Traditional lunch stop on the way

* Arrival in Naryn

* Hotel / guesthouse check-in

* Free evening and rest before the expedition

Driving time: ~5–6 hours

Day 2 — Naryn → Kel-Suu →Naryn

* Early breakfast and departure toward the Chinese border area

* Off-road drive through remote mountain landscapes

* Arrival at Kok-Kiya valley

* Horseback riding or hiking to Kel-Suu Lake

* Time to explore the lake, take photos, and enjoy the silence of the mountains

* Sunset in one of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan

* Overnight in traditional yurts or guesthouse

Driving time: ~5 hours + horse/hike access

Day 3 — Kel-Suu → Bishkek

* Breakfast with mountain views

* Return drive through Naryn region

* Scenic stops along the way

* Arrival back in Bishkek in the evening

Driving time: ~8–9 hours
