Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Gaudan "W", Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Door to Hell, Derweze, Turkmenistan
Meeting at the border of Iran and Turkmenistan near Ashgabat, Bajgiran. Proceed to the city of Ashgabat. have some free time in the city of Ashgabat. 14:00 After lunch head towards Darvaza Gas Crater (300km, 5hours). 19:00 Reach the Darvaza, the Gates of Hell. Have some free time at the crater of Darvaza. 21:00 Dinner prepared locally, at the Yurts camp (400 meters away from Darvaza Crater) Spend some more time at the Crater with guide telling you the history of the “Gates to Hell” Overnight at Darvaza in a traditional yurt or camping tent.
Day 2: Door to Hell, Derweze, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
07:00, After breakfast head back to Ashgabat. On the way we will visit two another craters and a village.. 12:00 Have a lunch and another sightseeing tour of Ashgabat and the vicinity. 19:00 Check in a hotel. 20:00 Have a dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at Ashgabat.
Day 3: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat International Airport, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
Early morning transfer to Ashgabat International Airport and departure from Turkmenistan.
