Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Mini Gobi, Högönö-Taranaiin-Hüree, Mongolia
Escape to the “Mini Gobi”—a stunning semi-desert landscape in Dornogovi Province where golden sand dunes blend unexpectedly with green grassy steppes. This hidden gem offers a quieter, more intimate desert experience compared to the vast Gobi. Visitors can hike across the ever-shifting dunes and ride Bactrian camels at sunset.
Day 2: Mini Gobi, Högönö-Taranaiin-Hüree, Mongolia to Hustai National Park, Mongolia
Khustai National Park is a haven of rolling steppe and mountain valleys just a few hours from Ulaanbaatar. It’s most famous for the successful reintroduction of the Takhi (Przewalski’s horse)—the world’s last truly wild horse—which once went extinct in the wild. Here, visitors can observe these majestic creatures grazing and galloping across vast open landscapes.
Day 3: Hustai National Park, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
