About this tour

In that tour we will visit remote lake called Son-Kul Lake which located on 3016 meters above the sea level. The lake surrounded by mountains and alpine fields which is open only 4 months a year, because all road there is blocking by snowslides in other periods. The size of lake is 40km by 20km. The season for visit lake is starting from the end of May until end of September.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek -Son-Kul Lake. Distance: 350km On the way visit Burana Tower, Boom Canyon for a short trekking in canyon. Lunch in Boom Canyon Stop in Kochkor for visit Ethnical Carpet Center, where we can join activities like: Felt Show(50$) Yurt Show(60$) Lagman Show(40$) Dinner in yurtcamp, local cuisine Accomodation in yurtcamp of local people

Day 2: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan

From morning we have a flexible time to visit mountains and a coast of the lake by horses(20$ per horse+horseguide 40$) or trekking. Lunch in yurtcamp or picnic Dinner in yurtcamp

Day 3: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast we will drive by one of the beautiful pass roads "32 Pass" (3400m) for visit Son-Kul waterfall. Than through Karatal Japyryk Preserve we will drive to Bishkek with stops for a lunch in Kochkor
