Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar, Tanzania to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Begin your safari adventure today with an early morning hotel pickup in Zanzibar, followed by a flight to Serengeti. The journey includes a stop at Arusha Airport before reaching Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 am. Once you arrive, a thrilling game drive awaits, taking you through the day until the stunning sunset. After experiencing this breathtaking moment, indulge in dinner and spend the night at Serengeti Sametu Luxury Camp. Day 2: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
You’ll spend the entire day at Serengeti Park, beginning your exploration at sunrise. During a full-day game drive, you’ll search for the Big Five and other fascinating wildlife while taking in the beautiful scenery. Serengeti is a haven for bird enthusiasts, with over 500 recorded bird species, including the striking ostrich and unique secretary bird in the open grasslands, as well as the graceful black eagles soaring above the savannah. As the day comes to an end, you’ll head back to Serengeti Sametu Luxury Camp for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. Day 3: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania
Today, you have the option to begin your day with an early sunrise game drive or take a more relaxed approach by enjoying breakfast at your accommodation before embarking on a game drive. Following lunch, you will leave Serengeti National Park and continue your journey to Ngorongoro. Your day will culminate with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania to Zanzibar, Tanzania
Today’s safari adventure starts at 6:00am as you head to the stunning crater with a packed breakfast. The crater is home to various East African wildlife, and if you’re lucky, you might spot the rare black rhino. The exploration of this vast area, measuring 260 square kilometres with a diameter of about 20 kilometres, could take around 5 hours. After an unforgettable experience, you’ll make your way back to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
