Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arusha, Tanzania to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
Morning: Depart from Arusha early in the morning after breakfast. Midday: Arrive at Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant population and baobab trees. Afternoon: Enjoy a game drive through the park, observing wildlife such as lions, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species. Evening: Set up camp at a designated campsite within the park. Enjoy dinner prepared by the camp chef and relax around the campfire under the starry sky.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park, Tanzania to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Morning: After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, driving through the stunning landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Midday: Enjoy a packed lunch en route to Serengeti. Afternoon: Arrive at Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast savannahs and the annual wildebeest migration. Evening: Set up camp at a designated campsite within the park. Enjoy dinner and stargazing around the campfire.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Morning: Embark on an early morning game drive to catch sight of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as they are most active during this time. Midday: Return to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. Afternoon: After lunch, head out for another game drive, exploring different areas of the park and encountering diverse wildlife. Evening: Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania to Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
Morning: Enjoy a final game drive in Serengeti, taking in any sights you may have missed or revisiting favorite spots. Midday: Depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a packed lunch. Afternoon: Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa's Eden, known for its high density of wildlife and stunning landscapes. Evening: Descend into the crater for a game drive, where you may spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), among other species. Late Afternoon: Ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha. Evening: Arrive in Arusha, marking the end of the safari.
