Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport, Tanzania to Arusha, Tanzania

Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport, transportation will be arranged to take you to Forest Hill Hotel. Depending on your arrival time, there will be an opportunity to embark on an Arusha city tour, which includes visits to the renowned art gallery (Cultural Heritage), the local market, and the vibrant Maasai Market. Day 2: Arusha, Tanzania to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

After breakfast, you will start proceeding to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti), passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in Ndutu. Thousands of animals are born every day from December to March. The grass in this area is rich in nutrients for young animals. And because it is short, the adults can spot approaching predators from far. It is therefore a safe place to raise young zebras and wildebeests. Enjoy your game drive till sunset, then head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, the morning will kick off with a thrilling game drive in the Ndutu area. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. A half-day game drive will be followed by a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness. Later, we will divert our route towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The drive to the rim spans 75 km and is estimated to take approximately 2.5 hours, offering mild game sightings along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater is a remarkable geological wonder and a true haven of untamed wilderness. As the day draws to a close, you’ll savor a satisfying dinner and retire to your comfortable accommodation for a well-deserved rest. Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania to Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

On the final day of your safari, an early start awaits. Following a quick breakfast, we will commence our descent into the Ngorongoro Crater around 6:30 am. This extraordinary natural wonder is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. During the 5 to 6-hour game drive on the crater floor, you can expect to witness a plethora of captivating animal encounters. It is highly recommended to keep your camera at the ready, as the abundance of wildlife includes African elephants, buffalos, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, and lions. We will begin the steep ascent towards the crater’s exit. This marks the final leg of your safari, with approximately a 4-hour drive remaining to reach Arusha. In the evening, you will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha or transferred to the airport as per your arrangements.
