Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Old Nisa, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Turkmenbashy Ruhy Mosque, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

Meet the local guide at the Ashgabat International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Rest time. In the afternoon at 14:30, Ashgabat city tour: visit the main tourist attractions in the capital, including parks and monuments, an impressive mosque, and other iconic buildings. After lunch, visit “Old Nisa” - The Sanctuary of Parthian Kings (UNESCO site), and continue with the “Gypjak” Mosque and Mausoleum of the late President of Turkmenistan. Transport - Regular bus Meals - Lunch at a local restaurant / Dinner at a local traditional restaurant (Not including tour price) Accommodation - Overnight at the hotel – Sport 4* or similar

Day 2: Seyit Jemaletdin Mosque, Annau, Turkmenistan to Mary, Turkmenistan

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Mary City. On the way, stop at: Annau, the ruins of the 15th-century Seyit Jamal-ad-Din Mosque. Abiward or Abi-ward is an ancient Sassanid city in modern-day Turkmenistan. Continue to Mary City. Visit Ancient Merv (UNESCO World Heritage Site). One of the major archaeological sites of Central Asia, Merv played an important part in the development of the Silk Road for more than 2,000 years. The splendid XII c. mausoleums of Sultan Sanjar and Muhammed ibn-Zeyd demonstrate exquisite Seljuk period brickwork and architectural décor. Transport - Regular Bus Meals - Breakfast at the hotel. Day 3: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Darvaza Gas Crater - "Door to Hell", Derweze, Turkmenistan

The tour starts with a visit to the Museum, which has an extensive ethnography section, including a large collection of Turkmen jewellery, carpets, stuffed animals, a fully decorated yurt, and pottery from the time of the Mongol occupation. The archaeological section is best, with artifacts like pottery, weapons, household implements, and jewelry excavated at Merv and Margush. And then Flying to Ashgabat city from Mary Airport and have lunch at a local restaurant in Ashgabat. At 15:00, continue driving through the Karakum desert to Darvaza. Visit a small nomadic village on the way to the main attraction and immerse yourself in the traditional lifestyle of Turkmen people. Visit the Gas Crater. Stay in a camp with tasty catering; the perfect way to enjoy this highlight. Observe the fantastic view of the crater during daylight and at night, feel the heat, and listen to the sound that this giant oven creates. Day 4: Köneürgench, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

After breakfast, drive to the North province of Turkmenistan, to the architectural monuments of Old Urgench, the capital of Khorezm in X-XII centuries. Visit the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, and the highest minaret in Central Asia, Kutlyg Timur. Dashoguz city tour. Transfer to the airport for a local flight at 20:10. From Ashgabat airport, transfer to a local restaurant for dinner. Transport - Regular Minibus - Jeep Meals - Breakfast picnic-style. Day 5: Sport Hotel, Aşgabat, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat International Airport, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
