About this tour
Welcome you to Tajikistan, the land where you will experience totally different hospitality. In these 4 nights journey, you will see our beautiful capital city Dushanbe, our amazing parks and attractions, the culture and history of our ancestors, and our uncompareble mountains. We will also take you on a gastronomic journey to our traditional restaurants and you will have a chance to try our traditional dish PLOV. Please see below the detailed itinerary of your stay.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dushanbe, Tajikistan
First day arrival to Dushnabe, check in to the hotel. After lunch Dushnabe city tour. We will cover the flagpole park, Kohi navrus and Mehrgon market until 7 pm. Dinner at one of the Tajik restaurant and overnight at a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Iskanderkul, Tajikistan
Today after breakfast we will head to Isandarkul lake. it will be around 4 hour's drive from Dushanbe. After we reach the lake we will take a walk along the untouched paths on the mountains, visit the Niagara waterfall, and enjoy the short hike to snake lake and the beautiful landscapes. After having lunch in an open area and check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel
Day 3: Iskanderkul, Tajikistan to Panjakent, Tajikistan
After breakfast, we will head to Panjakent. Panjakent was once an ancient town in Sogdiana. The ruins of the old town are on the outskirts of the modern city. Before we go to the hotel we will visit Sarazm city. It dates back to the 4th millennium BC and is today a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The jamaat is part of the city of Panjakent in Sughd. After we will get to have lunch and check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure
Day 4: Panjakent, Tajikistan to Khujand, Tajikistan
After breakfast before our departure to Khujand city we will visit Mavzoley of A. Rudaki wich is also located in Panjakent.
Day 5: Khujand, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan
Today we will go for city tour around Khujand. Khujansd city is the as Leninabad from 1936 to 1991, is the second-largest city of Tajikistan and the capital of Tajikistan's northernmost Sughd province. Khujand is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, dating back about 2,500 years to the Persian Empire. We will depart after having lunch in one of the traditional chaykhanas. Dinner at overnight in Dushanbe
