Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Ala Archa National Park, Бишкек, Kyrgyzstan
● Arrival in Bishkek. Ala Archa National Park Meeting at the airport upon arrival, transfer to the hotel, rest. Late breakfast. Trip by jeeps to the Ala-Archa State Natural Park, located at a distance of 41 km, at an altitude of 1600-4860 m. It covers an area of 2280 hectares. The Ala-archa River flows through the park, a popular place for mountain hiking, skiing and mountaineering, where there are more than 20 glaciers. The park covers an area of more than 200 square kilometers mostly covered with forests. Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan
After earlier breakfast, we start our trip. Transfer from Bishkek to Son Kul ((350 km 5-6 hours)). On the way to Son Kul we will visit Buran Tower Museum. The Burana Tower is a minaret of the 10th-11th centuries of the Karakhanid Empire in the Chui valley in northern Kyrgyzstan. It is located 80 km from the capital Bishkek, 12 km southwest of the city of Tokmok. The tower is a part of the specially protected archaeological and architectural complex "Burana Tower". It is one of the oldest structures in Central Asia. After excursion we continue our trip. We have lunch in Kochkor city. Then we move towards the Son Kul Alpine Lake. Son Kol is a large alpine lake. The lake sits in the central part of Son-Kol Valley surrounded by Son Kol Too ridge from the north, and Borbor Alabas and Moldo Too mountains from the south, at an altitude of 3016 m above sea level in the northwestern part of the Naryn region. It is a potential object of ecological tourism. Length: 29 km Maximum depth: 14 m Average depth: 8.6 m Outflowing river: Song-Kul Absolute altitude: 3013.6-3016 m. The second part of the route will not be as fast as the first, because it runs along a gravel road and will take a little longer. After arriving dinner and free time. Day 3: Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan to Tamga, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast. Transfer from Son Kul to Tamga village (300 km 4-5 hours). We visit the canyons Aksai, and in the Bokonbaevo village where you visit local Eagle hunter and He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles (a traditional way of nomadic hunting), here we have lunch, then move to Skazka canyons and the picturesque gorge Barskoon. Day 4: Tamga, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
The main destination for today is the Jety-Oguz Gorge or the Rocks of the Seven Oxen (Kyrgyz Jeti-Oguz) This is a picturesque mountain gorge 28 km west of the city of Karakol (former Przhevalsk) on the southern coast of Issyk-Kul. After reaching this gorge, we will rise up to the panoramic platform, from where the best view opens to the whole valley. Then we'll drive higher into the gorge where will have light hiking to the waterfall Maiden's braids. After arrival in the city of Karakol, lunch. In the city, we will visit all most interesting places such as Dungan mosque and Russian Orthodox Church Dinner. Overnight in hotel. Living conditions: shower, toilet, hot water in the room
Day 5: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast. Transfer to the city of Cholpon-Ata. On the way to Cholpon Ata, we will visit two most interesting gorges of the Northern part of Issyk Kul. They are Semenovskoe and Gregorievskoe gorges, where you will visit two mountain lakes. You can have a walk enjoying wild nature and spend some good time in this beautiful place. After that, we are aheading our way to Cholpon Ata. In the city, we visit museum of petroglyphs in Cholpon Ata Dinner. Overnight at the guesthouse Living conditions: shower, toilet, hot water in the room.
Day 6: Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Day 6 Cholpon Ata - Bishkek Breakfast. Transfer to Bishkek. on the way to city we make stop to visit canyons Kok Moinok, this place becomes very popular among locals by it unique landscapes. End the program. Dinner. Transfer to Manas airport.
