Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu, Nepal to Dhunche, Nepal

Embark on a scenic journey to Dhunche, spanning 118km. Travel time is approximately 6 hours by private Jeep or 7 hours by local bus. Navigate zigzag roads amid hills and picturesque villages, marveling at majestic Himalayan vistas like Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang. Savor local cuisine, cross the Trisuli River, pass through the national park checkpoint, and finally arrive at Dhunche.

Day 2: Dhunche, Nepal to Sing Gompa, Nepal

The trekking adventure begins today with a 6-hour uphill hike to Sing Gompa after breakfast. Highlights include the Himalayan mineral water factory, suspension bridges, scenic landscapes, rhododendron forests, and views of Langtang Mountain. Traverse through Tamang villages, an army check post, and visit a local cheese factory upon arrival at Sing Gompa.

Day 3: Sing Gompa, Nepal to Gosainkunda, Nepal

Begin your day with captivating mountain views, followed by a trek to Gosaikunda. Upon reaching Gosaikunda Lake, experience its spiritual significance revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. The holy water is believed to cleanse sins, attracting pilgrims, particularly during the 'Janayapurnima' festival. Winter visitors are treated to enchanting views of snow-covered peaks and the tranquil lake.

Day 4: Gosainkunda, Nepal to Suryakunda, Ghyangphedi, Nepal

After soaking in the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding Himalayas, continue your journey towards Tharepati. Expect a challenging day with uphill climbing towards the highest point of the trek, the Gosaikunda Pass or Lauribinayak Pass (4609M/15122Ft). Despite the difficulty, the trail is adorned with natural beauty, making it an exciting opportunity for photographers.

Day 5: Suryakunda, Ghyangphedi, Nepal to Kutumsang, Nepal

Enjoy an easy day as you descend downhill for 5 hours towards Kutumsang. Traverse through forests, and local villages, and possibly spot some wildlife along the way. Kutumsang, a charming village of the Tamang community, awaits with warm local hospitality.

Day 6: Kutumsang, Nepal to Kathmandu, Nepal

Drive from Kutumsang to Kathmandu. Enjoy the scenic journey through diverse landscapes, villages, and winding roads. As you descend from the mountains, soak in the beauty of the surrounding hills and valleys. Then we will be in Kathmandu.
