Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Panjakent, Tajikistan to Artuch, Tajikistan
A guide and driver will meet you at the border. On the way we will visit the city of Penjikent. We will have an introductory stop at the Central Bazaar. You can buy something extra for yourself. Afterwards we leave for the Artuch village (2hr). This is the day of acclimitation. After lunch, a walk around the village and getting to know the locals, life in the mountains, cuisine, traditions and everyday lifestyle. Dinner and accommodation in the guesthouse.
Day 2: Artuch, Tajikistan to Koulikalon Lakes, Tajikistan
After breakfast we load our things on the donkey and go up the gorge to Kuli Kalon Lake (4hr) 2800m above sea. The road will be along a mountain path along a mountain river that originates from the Kuli-Kalon lakes. We explore the area around the lake and get a lunch in the nature. Dinner and overnight in a tent near Lake Bibijanat. Accommodation and dinner in tents.
Day 3: Koulikalon Lakes, Tajikistan to Alaudinskoye Ozero - Chapdara, Tajikistan
This day we leave early in the morning with the sunrise. The landscapes with views of the eternally white mountain peaks are truly breathtaking. Hiking to the Alauiddin lakes through a Alauddin pass whose height is 3950m (7-8 hours). Lunch at altitude, photo session against the backdrop of mountain peaks. Dinner and accommodation near the Alauddin lake (2600m) in a tent.
Day 4: Alauddin Lake 1, Айнӣ, Tajikistan to Mutnyye Ozora, Tajikistan
After breakfast visit to the mountain lake - Mutny (3500m~6hr) with the opportunity to enjoy the view of the Chimtarga peak 5495m. Today's route is of medium difficulty but with unforgettable views of the 5000 meter peaks Maria and Mirali. Lunch at the foot of Chimtarg with a view of it. After lunch we return to Lake Alaudin. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Alaudin
Day 5: Alauddin Lake 1, Айнӣ, Tajikistan
This day we will visit the Guitar and Khurdak lakes. These lakes are part of the large territory of the Aloviddin Lake. Lunch at our camp. After lunch, free time for solitude with nature. After a 3-day trip along the mountain passes, it is time to be with nature and enjoy the fresh air, resting in the shade of mountain trees, enjoying the sound of mountain rivers and wild birds (we say this is the best therapy for any person).
Day 6: Alaudinskoye Ozero - Chapdara, Tajikistan to Panjakent, Tajikistan
In the morning after breakfast we go back to the alpine camp (25-30 minutes) where the driver is waiting for us. Then return with unforgettable impressions from a trip to the mountains. Then the driver and guide will take you to the border (4 hours) and it's time to say goodbye
