Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bandaranaike International Airport, කටුනායක, Sri Lanka to Colombo, Sri Lanka
Ceylon classic tours, the representative will meet you at the Bandaranaike International Airport and take you to your hotel in Colombo. After checking in at the hotel, you will go on an afternoon city tour of Colombo. You will return to the hotel for dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Colombo.
Day 2: Colombo, Sri Lanka to Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka
After breakfast proceeds to Polonnaruwa the second capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to the 13th century AD. This ancient city is today one of the most beautiful centers of this island’s cultural heritage. We will also visit the remains of the Royal Palace and Parakrama Samudra, a huge man-made water reservoir. We will check-in at the hotel for dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Polonnaruwa.
Day 3: Sigiriya, Sri Lanka to Kandy, Sri Lanka
Breakfast at the hotel will be followed by a visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Having climbed the rock, you will encounter the remains of the Palace and its surroundings. En route to Kandy, we will visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple and a Spice Garden Matale. We will check-in at the hotel before an afternoon visit to the Temple of the Tooth and a Kenyan cultural dance performance. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel for dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy, Sri Lanka to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka
After breakfast at the hotel. On the way to Nuwara Eliya, we will take the Upper Lake Drive and visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela, and a Tea Plantation, to see women plucking the ‘Green Gold’ tea leaves. Upon arrival at Nuwara Eliya, we will take a late afternoon tour of Little England before dinner and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Nuwara Eliya
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka to Yala National Park Safari, Yala, Sri Lanka
We depart for Yala after breakfast. We will go on an afternoon visit to Yala National Park or Bundala Wildlife Park. You will see a vast array of animals including deer, peacock, elephant, wild buffalo, and the lucky visitors may get to see a leopard or bear. At the end of the tour, you will check-in at the hotel for dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Tissamaharama.
Day 6: Galle, Sri Lanka to Bandaranaike International Airport, කටුනායක, Sri Lanka
After breakfast, you will visit the Galle Dutch Fort before your return to Colombo, transfer to the airport, or drop off at a beach extension hotel of your choice.
