Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Nosy Ambariovato, Madagascar to Nosy Tanikely, Madagascar
Airport or hotel pick-up. At 8:00 am, embark on a memorable journey to explore the charming islands of Nosy Komba, famously known as the Lemur Island, and Nosy Tanikely. Our first stop is Nosy Komba, renowned for its pristine and secluded beaches, surrounded by mesmerizing emerald waters. Experience the tranquility of this island, with its untouched beauty and limited tourist presence. Next, we will venture to Nosy Tanikely, situated approximately 10 km away from Komba. Dive into the unique opportunity to explore the vibrant underwater world through snorkeling, as this island is a protected marine reserve and offers one of the finest snorkeling experiences in the region. Marvel at the colorful coral reefs, abundant fish species, and graceful sea turtles. Enjoy a delightful lunch on the island before returning to the hotel in the afternoon. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and unwind at your leisure. Overnight at L'Heure Bleu Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Ambatoloaka, Madagascar to Nosy Sakatia, Madagascar
Breakfast at the restaurant. 8 a.m.: Take time to discover this island on foot. With its 6 km or 2 km, it is not a journey that difficult, and between the charming fishing villages, coves, and vast beaches, rice fields, and paths dotted with creepers, vanilla, coffee, lemon trees, orange chameleons, lemurs, and others, you will spend a day of the most friendly. Lunch is at Ampasoa Beach Restaurant. Back to the hotel in the afternoon, and the rest of the day at your leisure! Night at the same hotel with breakfast.
Day 3: L'heure Bleue, Madagascar to Nosy Iranja, Madagascar
This morning, we will depart from the hotel and make our way to Nosy Iranja by speed boat, a pair of pristine islands connected by a long stretch of white sandy beach. This iconic image of Nosy Be is sure to captivate you, as it has been captured countless times in photographs. Nosy Iranja is not only known for its breathtaking beauty but also as a significant nesting site for large turtles. During our visit, we will enjoy a picnic lunch on the island. Afterward, we will explore the fishing villages surrounding the area, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local community and appreciate the unique ecosystem. Take a walk along the cliffs and viewpoints to marvel at the panoramic view from the historic and ancient lighthouse, which overlooks the Mozambique Channel. It's a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the surroundings.
Day 4: Nosy Iranja, Madagascar to Nosy Be, Madagascar
Free morning at your leisure to do sea activity (surfing, diving, snorkeling, or just chilling on the beach). Lunch at the restaurant at your charge, and back to Nosy in the afternoon. We will try to find a hampback whale on a route in case you are lucky enough to see them passing. Night at Heure Bleue Hotel
Day 5: Lokobe Nature Special Reserve, Ampasipohy, Madagascar to L'heure Bleue, Madagascar
Today we take a journey to the east of the island by car to visit the national park of Lokobe. According to the Madagascar National Park Authority, this park is the home of 50 species of reptiles, 14 species of amphibians, 42 birds, and 3 species of primates living freely in their natural environment. In this park, we will also meet the unique Black Lemur (Eulemur macaco), a lemur endemic to the North Area only. Back for lunch after the visit then take a walk around the Ambatonjavavy to see the daily life people life. Head back to the beach for a good evening rest. Overnight at the same Hotel.
Day 6: Hell-Ville, Madagascar to Aéroport international de Nosy Be-Fascene, Madagascar
Today, we will drive you from your hotel to the popular town of Hellville. Here, we will guide you to visit the Ylang Ylang factory and get finished products from the shop. Visit the town by foot, and get some tipical souveniers. transfer you back to your Hotel or to the airport after the end of the tour.
