7-Day Full Immersion in Kyrgyzstan

This 7-day journey is designed for those who want to experience Kyrgyzstan from the inside — not simply visit its most famous places, but connect with its culture, traditions, nature and people.
Our adventure begins in Bishkek, where you will discover the capital, taste traditional Kyrgyz food and get your first introduction to local culture and everyday life. From there, we leave the city behind and head into the mountains.
We will explore Ala-Archa National Park before continuing towards the spectacular Issyk-Kul Lake, one of the most iconic places in Kyrgyzstan. Along the southern shore, we will discover some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country while experiencing the traditional hospitality of local families.
During the journey, we will meet a local eagle hunter and discover the ancient Kyrgyz tradition of hunting with golden eagles. You will also have the opportunity to ride horses and learn about the deep connection between Kyrgyz people, horses and the mountains.
We will spend time in traditional villages, meet local families and discover how people live outside the cities. You will have the opportunity to taste homemade Kyrgyz food, learn about local traditions and experience the legendary hospitality that is such an important part of Kyrgyz culture.
We will also explore the landscapes around Issyk-Kul, visiting places that combine spectacular nature with history and local culture. Rather than rushing from one attraction to another, we will take the time to experience the country at a slower pace.
Our journey will eventually bring us back to Bishkek, where we will spend our final evening together with a traditional farewell dinner.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Biškek, Kirghizistan to Bishkek City, Kirghizistan
Day 1 — Bishkek & Ala-Archa We’ll start by exploring Bishkek, discovering its main landmarks, local streets and everyday life. After lunch, we’ll head to Ala-Archa National Park for a hike surrounded by the spectacular Kyrgyz mountains. A perfect first taste of Kyrgyzstan — city, culture and nature in one day.
Day 2: Biškek, Kirghizistan to Tokmok, Kirghizistan
Day 2 — Kegeti & Kol-Tor Lake We’ll head to the beautiful Kegeti Valley and hike to the stunning Kol-Tor Lake. Along the way, we’ll experience the mountains on horseback and enjoy the peaceful landscapes of the Kyrgyz countryside.
Day 3: Tokmok, Kirghizistan to Čolponata, Kirghizistan
Day 3 — Burana Tower & Canyons We’ll visit the historic Burana Tower before enjoying a traditional lunch with freshly made Kattama. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the spectacular Konorchek and Kok-Moinok Canyons before continuing to Cholpon-Ata for the night.
Day 4: Čolponata, Kirghizistan to Karakol, Kirghizistan
Day 4 — Cholpon-Ata, Kyrchyn & Karakol We’ll discover the ancient petroglyphs of Cholpon-Ata before heading to the beautiful Kyrchyn Gorge. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Karakol, where we’ll explore the city and its unique blend of Kyrgyz, Russian and Dungan culture.
Day 5: Karakol, Kirghizistan
Day 5 — Altyn Arashan We’ll head deep into the mountains to explore the spectacular Altyn Arashan Valley, surrounded by the majestic Tien Shan peaks. We’ll enjoy the wild landscapes, mountain trails and natural hot springs — a perfect day to experience the untouched side of Kyrgyzstan.
Day 6: Karakol, Kirghizistan to Bökönbaev, Kirghizistan
Day 6 — Jeti-Oguz & Southern Issyk-Kul We’ll explore the stunning Jeti-Oguz Valley, visit the beautiful Barskoon Waterfall, and discover the colorful Skazka Canyons. We’ll finish the day with the breathtaking panoramic views of Shatyly, overlooking Lake Issyk-Kul.
Day 7: Bökönbaev, Kirghizistan to Biškek, Kirghizistan
Day 7 — Eagle Hunting & Ak-Sai Canyon We’ll meet a local eagle hunter and discover the ancient Kyrgyz tradition of hunting with golden eagles. Then, we’ll explore the spectacular Ak-Sai Canyon before heading back to Bishkek, bringing our 7-day adventure to an end.
