Embark on an unforgettable 7-day wildlife adventure, starting in Antananarivo and ending in Tana.
Our journey will lead us through the charming village of Andasibe Perinet, a four-hour drive along the N°2 national road in the heart of the eastern region. Along the way, we will make a stop at the Peyrieras family-owned park, where we will have the opportunity to observe unique reptiles such as Sifaka lemurs, chameleons, and crocodiles. Our hike through the lush rainforest will also offer sightings of Indri-Indri lemurs, diverse amphibians, birds, and flora.
Leaving Andasibe behind, we will continue our journey towards the enchanting village of Manambato on National Road N°2. Here, we will board a motorboat for a scenic ride through two lakes, ultimately arriving at the breathtaking paradise known as 'Dream Nest'. At the stunning Palmarium, you will have the chance to catch a glimpse of the rarest lemur species, the rarest lemur called Aye-Aye, as well as other lemur species.This tour is highly recommended for those who are interested in exploring and discovering the unique nature and wildlife of Madagascar.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ivato International Airport, Antananarivo, Madagascar to HAVANA Resort, Antananarivo, Madagascar
Meet and greet at Antananarivo Ivato International Airport by Friendly Tour Guide’s representative. The guide or driver will bring your name and company logo on hand. It is the guide’s job to assist you through the rest of the arrival process. Changing money, getting a SIM card for your phone, getting some data set up on your SIM, and anything else you may need. Drive out of the airport to reach your hotel in the city. Hotel: Havana Resort Hotel | Bungalow Room/DBL Breakfast and airport pickup are included; lunch and dinner are not.
Day 2: Antananarivo, Madagascar to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, Falierana, Madagascar
8: 00 Am – Meet you from you Hotel. First, we travel to Andasibe village that found at 4 hrs drive to the east of Tana fallowing the national road N°2. On the route, we can stop at Madagascar Exotic park, which is a privately run reserve at Marozevo and is situated between the towns of Manjakandriana and Moramanga. This happens to be a very popular tourist spot, so make your day memorable! Catch sights of different reptiles, butterflies, moths, and insects and more here. By evening 6:30 pm, start your night walk safari to see those animals that are active only at night at VOIMM the community park, where you can easily find them. You will discover smallest lemurs and other endemic reptiles. Be ready with your raincoat and spry, with a lamp torch. Hotel: Lemur’s Lodge Hotel | Bungalow room /DBL. Day 3: Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, Falierana, Madagascar to Vakona Forest Lodge, Perinet, Madagascar
Morning breakfast at your restaurant. 8:00 Am-Guided visit into Analamazaotra rain forest area of Madagascar. Enjoy the wildlife in this park including more than 5 species of lemurs. The park is mainly consists of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. You may see the biggest lemur, named "indri -Indri" and hear their loud voice that hear from 4 -5km away. You can hike between 3-5 hours through this rainforest with the local guide depends on how you spot it. After the visit, we then drive you to Vakona Forest Lodge, where you can have lunch and do an excursion to meet the lemurs on their own private island. Canoe excursion to see King Juliana, also known as Ring Tails (Lemur Catta), and other lemur species as well. Visit the village of Andasibe and return to hotel. Day 4: Andasibe, Madagascar to Le Manambato, Brickaville, Madagascar
This morning, continue your journey to the beautiful village of Manambato where we will have our lunch on front of the beach. See the hypnotizing green landscape with the “Ravinala”, which is unique to the East coast of Madagascar. Cross the Rasoabe Lake by speed boat for one hour to reach the heavenly dreamed place called 'Dream Nest'. By 5:30Pm - Night excursion to see the Aye-Aye lemur in their natural habitat, as here ion the only best place to spot them easily. Hotel: Palmarium Hotel | Bongalow/DBL. Day 5: Palmarium Reserve, Madagascar to Palmarium Hotel Ankanin'Nofy, Ampanakary, Madagascar
In the morning, we'll have breakfast at the restaurant before visiting the reserve park around the hotel. You'll have the opportunity to interact with lemurs, as they jump onto your hands and shoulders. You can also observe and learn about the various species of lemurs, plants, and birds. After lunch, we'll take a boat excursion to the Indian sea beach, where you can relax and experience the farmers' life along the Pangalane canal. The rest of the day at your leisure. Day 6: Palmarium Hotel Ankanin'Nofy, Ampanakary, Madagascar to Antananarivo, Madagascar
8:00 Am : After breakfast, we'll leave this dream nest area to get back to Manambato to reach our car again. We then continued our road trip back on the same road for 7 hours to Antananarivo on national road N°2. You will arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon. Day 7: Royal Palace, Antananarivo, Madagascar to Ivato International Airport, Antananarivo, Madagascar
Today, depending on your flight departure time, If still have time, then we will drive you up to the Queen Palace, where you will visit and learn the royal story and Madagascar culture. The visit will take us about 2 hours, and drive you directly to the airport after the visit. Let us know if you are keen for typical local souvenirs to bring home.
