Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan

Accompanied by a professional guide you will not only visit the main sights of Bishkek, but also learn the history, traditions and interesting facts about the city. About people and their way of life, not written in books and magazines. You will be amazed at how friendly the combination of styles in architecture, multinational society, bilingual signs and much more can be! Duration: 3-4 hours. After we transfer to Burana Tower, located 80 kilometers from Bishkek, is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Kyrgyzstan. It contains important artifacts that tell the story of Kyrgyzstan and its role on the Great Silk Road. Burana Tower is the remains of the city of Balasagun, which was the capital of the Karakhanid Empire in the 9th century. Evidence of brick foundations of buildings has been found around the foot of the tower; archaeologists believe that the ancient city extended much further than the tower, housing stores, bazaars, bathhouses and dwellings. Also near the tower you can see a small collection of stone statues - balbals. Small stone figures were created to honor the memory of the deceased, sometimes they were placed at the place of burial. These examples of 6th century A.D. stonework are complemented by petroglyphs from the 2nd century B.C., which can be seen near the Burana Tower. Then we will drive to Lake Issyk Kul, along the northern shore. Arriving to Karakol city, overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast city-tour in Karakol city. We will visit the ancient Church of Holy Trinity and Dungan Mosque. Will transfer to Altyn Arashаn. Altyn-Arashan means "Golden Spring" and is a high-mountain gorge in the eastern part of the Terskey-Ala-Too range, located near the town of Karakol on Issyk-Kul about 10 km to the east. The gorge is widely known among tourists as it fascinates with its unique nature, hot springs, beautiful spruce forests and stunning views. Back in the period of the Soviet Union, the territory of Altyn-Arashan was recognized as a specially protected reserve zone because of its great natural diversity. The relic forest of Tien Shan spruce has been preserved here, and the area is also famous for its hot springs located at a record height of 2600 meters, which have a healing effect. Due to the content of radon and hydrogen sulfide in the water, the springs maintain a high temperature all year round: 35 degrees for the radon spring and 41 degrees for the hydrogen sulfide spring. Tourists love Palatka Peak because of its unusual trapezoidal shape, which is a great rarity for the Tien Shan mountains. Private tourist sector with guest houses is well developed in the gorge. The population is very hospitable and will gladly show you local sights, including the famous heart-shaped spring, spruce forests, the Great Ak-Suu Wall, Palatka Peak (5052 m), and Ala-Kul Lake. Finish day with campfire and enjoy with the view on a starry night. Night in guest house Elza.

Day 3: Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan to Ala-Kul, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast we will transfer to the Ala Kul lake by horses. The high-mountain glacial lake Ala-Kul (Alakul, Ala-Kyol), located in the Issyk-Kul region, is considered the pearl of the Terskey-Ala-Too mountain range. The lake is located between the Altyn-Arashan and Karakol gorges. Snowy mountains frame the Issyk-Kul Basin from the southern side. This range is the second largest glaciation center of the Tien Shan. Ala-Kul is translated from Kyrgyz as "motley lake". In cloudless weather it is turquoise, in rainy weather it is gray. Depending on the time of year and even the day, the color of water in Ala-Kul can be pink-gold, dark blue, purple and yellow. The lake is located at an altitude of 3532 meters above sea level. It is 2.3 kilometers long and 700 meters wide. The depth of the lake has not yet been fully explored, but scientists say that it exceeds 70 meters. The length of the coastline is 7 kilometers. The water in the lake - clean and transparent - is formed as a result of melting glaciers. Because of its proximity to the mountains, the lake freezes in the second half of fall and thaws only in May. The water in the lake is very cold even in summer, but many tourists who have reached their destination and are tired of the heat still swim in the icy water. Finish day with taking hot springs.

Day 4: Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan to Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan

Today we leave guest house in Altyn Arashan and transfer to Bokonbaeva. On the way we will visit Jety Ogyz valley. Jeti-Oguz Gorge or Rocks of Seven Bulls (Kyrgyz: Zheti-Өrүz) is a picturesque mountain gorge in Kyrgyzstan 28 km west of the town of Karakol (formerly Przhevalsk) on the southern shore of the Issyk-Kul. The Maiden's Tears waterfall is located in the Djety Oguz Gorge, about thirty kilometers east of Lake Issyk-Kul. It attracts the attention of mountain tourism enthusiasts with its clear waters and beautiful views from the paths leading to it. The Barskoon Gorge is a beautiful and majestic place. The mountains here look especially harsh and impregnable. The road running along the bottom of the gorge is flanked on both sides by huge Tien Shan fir trees. The Barskoon Gorge is famous for its numerous waterfalls. And how poetically the Kyrgyz people named them! "Tears of Bars", "Cup of Manas", "Aksakal's Beard". Fairy tale Canyon, located on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, is one of the most interesting and frequently visited natural places in Kyrgyzstan. It is located 120 kilometers from Balykchy and near the village of Tosor. The canyon is located in the gorge of the same name and is famous for its red clay rocks. The rocks resemble castles, towers, monsters, giants, people and animals. And all this was created by nature, not by human hands. Finish day with check in guest hous in Bokonbaeva.

Day 5: Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan

Today we will see Eagle hunting. On the way we will see the southern shore of Issyk Kul. Eagle hunting in Kyrgyzstan is an ancient tradition that was once suppressed by outsiders but is now proudly preserved by the nomadic people who call the high Central Asian valleys home. After we transfer to Son kul through Kalmak Ashuu pass 3446 m is the closest pass between Kochkor and Son Kul. The pass is open from the end of May to the end of October, when the first snow falls. But the nomads who have lived there since its opening leave the place long before the snows fall. It is said that the pass is called "Kalmak" because it was from this pass that Kalmyk soldiers once attacked the Kyrgyz in the meadows of Song-Kul. Lake Son-Kul (also known as Son-Kyol) is a fabulous high-mountain lake of the Tien-Shan, which means «The Last Lake» in Kyrgyz . It is located at an altitude of 3016 meters above sea level, the depth reaches 22 meters. We will have trekking to the petroglyphs and enjoy with nice views to the lake. Spend the day learning about nomadic culture and life. Visit local shepherd's families and introduce them, watch them run household duties – milking mares and cows; making Kymyz and other dairy products, cooking meals and taking care of lifestock. We will also enjoy marvelous sunset and sunrise views. At night we will sit around the campfire. Finishing day with sleeping in the Yourt.

Day 6: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Today leave Yourt camp and transfer back to Bishkek. On the way we visit Konorchak canyons. The amazing landscapes of the Konorchek canyons are reminiscent of the Grand Canyon, but at the same time, they carry a significant piece of Kyrgyzstan's unique nature. This fabulous place is located 125 km from the capital, in the Boom Gorge. It is possible to pass to the Canyons only through labyrinths of rocks along the bed of the dried up river. Rocky columns of red sandstone extend for many kilometers. Here time seems to stop, and the traveler is captured by these picturesque landscapes, which are impossible to admire. A special attraction of the canyons is an extinct volcano, the age of which is estimated at 2.5-3 million years. The climate in the Konorchek canyons is quite unusual and peculiar: in summer it is very hot and dry, in winter it is cold, but practically without precipitation. Finishing day with staying in the Hotel In Bishkek and having dinner.

Day 7: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Ala Archa National Park, Бишкек, Kyrgyzstan

Ala-Archa Gorge is one of the most famous sights of Kyrgyzstan. The Ala-Archa Gorge is located in the Chui Oblast and is a national park. Every year this high-mountainous gorge receives hundreds of thousands of tourists, both local and foreign. The Ala-Archa Gorge is located only 40 kilometers from Bishkek and therefore it is very easy to get here and there is all the necessary tourist infrastructure: a good asphalted road, stores, hotels, cafes, and places for rest among the picturesque nature.
