Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Arrive in Bishkek and transfer to the guest house. After a relaxed morning, we start sightseeing tour. We visit central Ala-Too Square, the National History Museum, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National Philharmonic, an eastern market - Osh bazaar.

Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan

Day 2: Bishkek -Kyrchyn– Karakol In the morning, we drive to Karakol, where Issyk Kul lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world after Lake Titicaca in South America. We also pass the ancient minaret Burana tower, built by Karakhanids at the end of the 11 century. Then, we drive to Cholpon-Ata. After lunch we visit open-air museum of petroglyphs. Then we continue driving to Karakol city. On arrival we visit Russian Orthodox church and Dungan Mosque in Chinese style.

Day 3: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan

Day 3: Karakol – Altyn-Arashan - Karakol After breakfast, transfer to Ak-Suu village, where we start our hiking through the mountain passes one of the most beautiful gorges in Kyrgyzstan. Translated from Kyrgyz, Altyn-Arashan means "golden hot spring". Free time for walking and it will be possible to bathe in hot springs. Then we come down to our car. Transfer to Karakol.

Day 4: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Skazka, Kaji-Say, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, we drive to Jeti-Oguz gorge, which is famous for its coniferous forest, beautiful gorges for hiking, red and sandy formations which are called “Seven Bulls” and “Broken Heart”. Here, we climb a bit and overlook the panorama of the Jeti-Oguz valley. Then we continue our trip to the Barskoon Gorge, where we stop for a short hike to visit beautiful waterfall in the forest. After short hiking we have time for picnic. After picnic, we drive to “Fairytale Canyon”. The canyon is famous for its unique red colors and strange formations. After seeing “Fairytale Canyon” drive to camp near Fairytale Canyon, where we can take a photo/video (with drone) and see a beautiful panorama of the lake and an interesting landscape of the mountainous area. Upon arrival, we watch a hunting show with golden eagle, kyrgyz sighthound (taigan).

Day 5: Skazka, Kaji-Say, Kyrgyzstan to Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, we drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son Kul Lake. It is situated at the altitude 3016 m. above sea level and surrounded by beautiful mountains. On the way, we stop in downtown of Kochkor to have a lunch. Then we drive to Son-Kul lake. On arrival Son Kul Lake, we have time to walk around the lake, observe the life of the local shepherds, or optionally go for a short horse riding around lake.

Day 6: Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan to Kel-Suu Lake, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, we drive to Naryn. We stop for lunch in Naryn town. Further we drive to Kel Suu lake. Kel-Suu lake is a high mountain lake of glacial origin, located in the southeastern part of the Naryn region, near the Kyrgyz-Chinese border, at an altitude of 3500 meters. The lake has one unusual feature, in honor of which it was given such a name: Kel-Suu, translated from Kyrgyz, translates as “transient water”. Indeed, sometimes the water disappears, flowing into underground caves and grottoes. Overnight in yurt camp.

Day 7: Kel-Suu Lake, Kyrgyzstan to Naryn, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, we explore the– Kel Suu lake. From the yurt camp to the lake we can walk or ride, it takes about 2-3 hours on foot. The only difficulty is altitude (3200-3300 m.), the path is not challenging, but proper hiking boots are recommended. We have a picnic on the shore. Afternoon, we load our stuff into the bus and continue our trip to Naryn town. On arrival, Naryn town we accommodate at the hotel.

Day 8: Naryn, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, we drive back to Bishkek city. On the way in Kochkor we stop and visit a felt carpet workshop. Lunch in Boom gorge. Then we drive to Bishkek. Here, we see the process of making Kyrgyz traditional felt carpets and different items from it.

Day 9: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Day 9. Bishkek city – Manas international airport Transfer to the airport to flight back home.
