Day 1: Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala
Arrival in vibrant Guatemala City, where this adventure filled with culture and tradition begins. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel. Day 2: Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala to Chichicastenango, Guatemala
After breakfast, departure for Chichicastenango, home to one of the most famous and colorful indigenous markets in Latin America. Here you can stroll through streets filled with handicrafts, textiles, and traditional aromas while learning about ancestral customs that endure today. You will also visit the iconic Church of Santo Tomás, where Mayan and Catholic traditions blend in a unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to enjoy the town and shop for local handicrafts. Accommodation: Hotel 3* or 4* Meals: Breakfast
Day 3: Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala to Lago de Atitlán, Guatemala
In the morning, departure for Sololá, an authentic indigenous town surrounded by impressive mountains. Its traditional market offers a genuine cultural experience, full of colors and local traditions. Later, you’ll continue to the spectacular Lake Atitlán, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, surrounded by volcanoes and picturesque Mayan villages. Day 4: Lago de Atitlán, Guatemala to Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala
Around 9:00 a.m., you will board a boat to cruise the calm waters of Lake Atitlán until you reach Santiago Atitlán, one of the most traditional and authentic villages in the region. Here you’ll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals, their colorful traditional costumes, and their rich culture. In the afternoon, you’ll depart for Antigua Guatemala, a colonial gem designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to and check into your hotel. Day 5: Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala to Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala
This day will be dedicated to discovering the magic of Antigua Guatemala, a city steeped in history, with cobblestone streets and perfectly preserved colonial architecture. You will visit churches, convents, and monasteries that tell centuries of history while enjoying the romantic and cultural atmosphere that characterizes this city. Day 6: Flores, Guatemala to Tikal, Guatemala
In the morning, a flight to Flores, the gateway to the heart of the Maya world. Upon arrival, transfer to the impressive archaeological sites of Yaxhá and Topoxté, surrounded by lush rainforest and natural lagoons. During the visit, you will discover temples, plazas, and ancient Mayan structures steeped in history and mystery. After lunch, transfer back to your accommodation in Flores or Tikal. Day 7: Tikal, Guatemala to Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala
Today you will explore Tikal, one of the most important and spectacular Mayan cities in all of the Americas. Surrounded by the Petén jungle, this impressive archaeological site features massive temples, ceremonial plazas, and a unique connection to ancient Mayan history. In addition to its cultural richness, the park is home to abundant flora and fauna, creating a truly unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, return flight to Guatemala City. Day 8: Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala

What to know
To confirm the agreed travel contract, a non-refundable prepayment of 30% of the costs per person must be paid. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 90 days before departure for the travel. If the client concludes his travel arrangements with RT less than 60 days before the departure, the tour must be paid in full immediately. RESIGNATION BY THE CUSTOMER Customers can withdraw from the contract at any time before the tour begins, but this must be done in writing. Refunds are subject to specific cancellation guidelines due to pre-tour costs incurred by Responsible Travel (RT). Cancellation fees for custom itinerary tours may vary and will be specified by a Responsible Travel Specialist consultant before reservation. Specific Refund Policies for Cancelled Tours: For mainland tours in a South American destination: • 90 days or more before departure: Full Refund, excluding a nonrefundable prepayment of 30%. • From 89 to 60 days before departure: Refund of 50% of the travel price. • From 59 to 40 days before departure: Refund of 40% of the travel price. • From 39 to 31 days before departure: Refund of 30% of the travel price. • From 30 days until departure date: 0% will be refunded.
