Day 1: Welcome to Bishkek Arrive in Bishkek and transfer to the hotel. After a relaxed morning, we start sightseeing tour. We visit central Ala-Too Square, the National History Museum, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National Philharmonic, an eastern market - Osh bazaar.
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son Kul Lake. It is situated at the altitude 3016 meters above sea level and surrounded by beautiful mountains. We also pass the ancient minaret Burana tower, built by Karakhanids at the end of the 11 century. Then, we drive to the Boom Gorge and hiking in the Konorchok Canyon with red rocks formed by wind and rain. After hiking we continue our trip. After lunch in Boom gorge, we drive to Son Kul lake. Upon arrival Son Kul Lake, we have time to walk around the lake, observe the life of the local shepherds. Overnight in yurt camp (Kyrgyz yurts). B/L/D
After breakfast, we drive to the Tash Rabat. On the road, we stop to take a photo at the most famous and picturesque 33 parrots pass (3133m.). This is a winding path, with a zigzag scar cuts a gentle slope between two peaks. From the top point, breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes of the inner Tien Shan open up. Tash Rabat is a Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle). This building had been used as a hotel and shelter for travelers and also underground prison cells for criminals on the Great Silk Road. On the way to the Tash Rabat, we stop in Naryn city to have a lunch. Upon arrival, we explore Tash Rabat Caravanserai. Then, we take a small hike, optionally go for a short horseback riding. Transfer to Naryn city. Overnight at the hotel. B/L/D
In the morning, we drive to Kochkor from Naryn city. On arrival, to Kochkor we visit a felt carpet workshop. Here, we see the process of making Kyrgyz traditional felt carpets. Then, transfer Ak-Sai canyons (Ak-Sai village), where we watch a hunting show with golden eagle, kyrgyz sighthound (taigan) and falcon. The road to Ak-Sai canyons (Ak-Sai village) runs along the southern shore of the Issyk-Kul lake. Issyk Kul lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world after Lake Titicaca in South America. Overnight in yurt camp with facilities. B/L/D.
After breakfast, we drive to the “Fairytale Canyon”. The canyon is famous for its unique red colors and strange formations. Then we continue our trip to the Barskoon Gorge, where we stop for a short hike to visit beautiful waterfall in the forest. After short hiking we have time for picnic. Then, we drive to Jeti-Oguz gorge, which is famous for its coniferous forest, beautiful gorges for hiking, red and sandy formations which are called “Seven Bulls” and “Broken Heart”. Drive to Karakol, where we visit Russian Orthodox church and Dungan Mosque in Chinese style. Overnight in a guest house. B/ L /D.
After breakfast, transfer to Altyn-Arashan with soviet truck, because only this transport can bring us through the mountain passes one of the most beautiful gorges in Kyrgyzstan. Translated from Kyrgyz, Altyn-Arashan means "golden hot spring". Free time for walking and it will be possible to bathe in hot springs. Transfer to Karakol. After dinner we can enjoy a traditional Kyrgyz folk show in a guesthouse. Overnight in a guest house. B/ L /D.
In the morning, Bishkek city, passing through the incredible Grigorievskoe gorge, where we take small hiking. These two picturesque gorges are connected to each other. Lunch is on the way in Boom gorge in the café. Overnight at the hotel. B/ L /D.
Transfer to the airport to flight back home.
