We'll stop along the way at Kok-Moinok Canyon. Departure from Bishkek towards the inner Tien Shan mountains. Along the way, landscapes constantly change: green valleys, red canyons, open steppes, rivers, and mountain passes. Arrival in Kyzart — a small mountain village known as the main starting point for horse trekking to Song-Kul Lake. Here travelers experience authentic nomadic life with yurts, shepherds, and herds of horses.
Horseback journey to Song-Kul — one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in Kyrgyzstan. The trail passes through wide jailoo pastures, rolling green hills, mountain passes, and endless panoramic views. Along the route travelers may see nomadic yurts, grazing animals, and traditional Kyrgyz shepherd life. At Song-Kul, guests are welcomed by peaceful landscapes, fresh mountain air, and the silence of the high plateau. Overnight in a traditional yurt camp.
Drive through remote mountain regions towards Kazarman. This is one of the least touristy and most authentic parts of Kyrgyzstan. Travelers will see dramatic gorges, winding mountain roads, rivers, isolated villages, and untouched landscapes far from the modern world.
Descent into the greener and warmer southern part of Kyrgyzstan. Arrival in Arslanbob — home to the world’s largest natural walnut forest. This region offers a completely different atmosphere: forests, waterfalls, fruit orchards, and traditional village life. Guests can walk through the walnut forest, visit waterfalls, and experience the hospitality of local families.
Drive to the ancient city of Osh — one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. Explore the local bazaar and visit the sacred mountain Sulaiman-Too, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Osh has been an important Silk Road crossroads for centuries, where cultures, traditions, and histories meet.
Journey through the Alay Valley towards Peak Lenin Base Camp. Along the road travelers will enjoy spectacular views of the Pamir-Alay mountain ranges, endless valleys, and snow-covered peaks. The base camp is located at the foot of Lenin Peak, one of the most famous 7,000-meter mountains in Central Asia.
Rest and acclimatization day before entering the high Pamirs. Guests can enjoy short hikes to panoramic viewpoints, alpine lakes, and glacier landscapes. This is the perfect place to experience the silence and scale of the high mountains. At night, the sky is filled with countless stars far away from any city lights.
Crossing the Kyrgyz-Tajik border and entering the legendary Pamir Highway. Arrival in Murghab — the highest town in Tajikistan. The landscapes become more dramatic and surreal: high-altitude deserts, massive plateaus, snow-covered mountains, and wide open spaces with almost no trees.
Journey through the Eastern Pamirs. The route passes alpine plains, remote lakes, yak pastures, and isolated nomadic settlements. Travelers experience the raw beauty and remoteness of the Pamirs. Arrival in Alichur — a small mountain village surrounded by endless highland landscapes.
One of the most scenic days of the expedition. Drive through the Wakhan Corridor along the Afghan border. Along the route travelers will see: ancient Silk Road fortresses, Buddhist stupas, natural hot springs, panoramic views of the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan. Arrival in Langar — a beautiful Pamiri village with traditional stone houses and green gardens.

Along the route travelers will see: Afghan villages across the river, ancient fortresses, green oases surrounded by rugged mountains, traditional Pamiri settlements and local culture. Arrival in Khorugh — the capital of the Pamir region surrounded by towering mountains.
Drive and hike to Jizeu. This hidden mountain village is one of the most peaceful and untouched places in the Pamirs. The hiking trail follows a river gorge leading to a remote settlement with no car access. Travelers will discover: crystal-clear lakes, stone houses, fruit gardens, a quiet lifestyle completely disconnected from modern civilization. Overnight in a local family guesthouse.
Return to the Pamir Highway and continue to Qalai-Khumb. The road follows the Panj River along the Afghan border, offering dramatic canyon views and constant views of Afghan villages on the opposite side of the river.
