About this tour
Ala kul is one of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan. You have to visit Ala-kul lake when you are in Karakol. The hiking part is challenging but when you reach the top, it's one of the most beautiful lake surrounded by endless mountain.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Ala-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
The trek starts from Karakol town. First, we will drive you to get to the entrance of Karakol National Park. After climbing for about 500 m, you will arrive at the Sirota Camp. There is usually a tent camp in Sirota. You can overnight at the campsite if you don’t have a tent. If you are not tired, you can choose to continue to hike, reaching Ala Kul lake.
Day 2: Ala-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan
The second day is the longest and hardest one. Get up early in the morning and be on the road until 8 pm. When you arrive to Altyn Arashan, you will see many guesthouses. It's recommended to spend the night in a Yurt. There is also a wild hot spring pool that we can show you
Day 3: Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
While ascending the peak you can see many beautiful lakes, and endless mountains
