Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia
Today arrive to Bayan Ulgii small town. Meet our team. The most experienced driver and guide. Drive to Sagsai village. Dust road. 28km. Today you will visiting the most amazing eagle hunter Dayinbek and her daughter Aymoldir. She is the most youngest eagle huntress in the world. That would be great to share both of man and female eagle hunters experience. Staying in a traditional ger, yurt.
Day 2: Road Sagsai, Ölgii, Mongolia
Horse riding day to the mountain Khuriin. Today spend time with eagle hunters. Have a nice convetsation with eagle hunters. You will see how to training the golden eagles. Share unique culture of eagle hunters.
Day 3: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, Mongolia to Altai Mountains, Mongolia
Today is driving to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Drive to 200km. Dusting road. Reach to south ranger station. You will see Tsagaan Gol, Yak Milk River.Camping next to Yak Milk river. You will see amazing view of Altai mountains. Today you will meet Tuvan people. They are Shaman. Share nomadic experience.
Day 4: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, Mongolia to Altai Mountains, Mongolia
Today is hiking day to basecamp. 16km. Amazing view of Altai mountains. You will see five peaks of Altai mountains. The highest peak is Huiten peak. 4375m. Eagle peak. 4050m. Ulgii peak is 4010m. Naran peak. 3900m. Friendship 3900m. Malchin peak 4050m. Today you will join camel caravan. Camels will uploading the stuffs. Camping on basecamp.
Day 5: Altai Mountains, Mongolia
Today is more exciting day. Today is hiking day to Malchin peak. 4050m. When you reach to summit, top on Malchin peak is amazing. It takes up 4 hours or more. Coming down takes 3 hours. Anyway we have full day for Malchin peak. No rush. Malchin peak does not need any special equipment. Camping on basecamp. Enjoy view of galaxy every single night.
Day 6: Altai Mountains, Mongolia to Khoton Lake, Mongolia
Today is hiking back to ranger station. Then drive to Hoton lake and Khurgan lake. The most beautiful lakes Hoton and Khurgan. Drive to 200km. Dusting road. Amazing view of Landscape. Around Hoton lakes live many Kazakh nomads. You will visit Kazakh nomads. Staying in a traditional ger, yurt.
Day 7: Khoton Lake, Mongolia to Khurgan Lake, Mongolia
Today is visiting nomads Kazakh family. Nomads herd animals such as yaks, camels, goat, sheep. You will learn milking yaks. You will taste traditional yak cheese. You will meet wonderful, nice people. Stay with nomads.
Day 8: Khoton Lake, Mongolia to Hoton Nuur, Mongolia
Today is short hiking day to see waterfall on the mountain Ikh Turgun. 7km. Then drive to valley Elikt. Amazing view of lakes and snow mountain, green forest. Staying with family.
Day 9: Khoton Lake, Mongolia to Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia
Today is driving back to Ulgii. Drive to 200km.You will see petroglyps.You will see nature gallery around Hoton lake. Have Ulgii tour. Go to local bazaar. Staying in a hotel. Go to local bazaar.
Day 10: Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Today is your flight to Ulaanbaatar. Thank you very much.
