This is the first Nauriz Eagle Festival in Bayan Olgii This will be seven day tour longer if requested where you will see the greatest eagle hunters in the world compete You will stay with a local eagle hunter family to see the culture and traditions first hand
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag to Altai
DAY 1 Flight arrival to Bayan Olgii. I will meet you at the airport and we will embark to a local eagle hunter family. We will have a traditional meal and see the hospitality first hand of Kazakh people.
Day 2: Altai to Bugat
DAY 2 Eagle hunting on horseback with our hosts and observe the real way that eagle hunters do it. You will see the amazing terrain of the Altai mountains and eat delicious food prepared by our team.
Day 3: Buyant to Bugant
DAY3.Eagle hunting on horseback with our hosts and observe the real way that eagle hunters do it. You will see the amazing terrain of the Altai mountains and eat delicious food prepared by our team.
Day 4: Tolbo to Altai
DAY 4 Drive back to Olgii. You will see the bazaar, museum, and city square on a day tour. Stay in hotel.
Day 5: Altai to Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag
DAY 5.Nauriz Eagle Festival. Now you get to see the entire festival first hand! There will be vendors with traditional Kazakh clothing and art pieces. The festival includes a parade, multiple traditional horse games, archery, and eagle games. I will explain all the facets of the games. We will stay at a homestay during the festival.
Day 6: Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag to Altai
DAY6.Nauriz Eagle Festival. Now you get to see the entire festival first hand! There will be vendors with traditional Kazakh clothing and art pieces.
