Assy Plateau Turgen Waterfall One Day Tour From Almaty

Day 1: Almaty to turgen

We will pick you up from your hotel and head to Tourgen gorge. The way there takes around one hour. People love to come here because the area is full of greenery. We will stop at the mountain river and start our hiking to Turgen waterfall (1.5 km). The path is rocky, in some places crossed by streams. We will climb to the waterfall for about 20 minutes, and have a rest at this picturesque place. Having returned to the car, we will continue our tour to the Assy plateau. The offroad tour takes around 40 min. You will see landscapes of rare beauty, herds of horses, and yurts. There is no civilization here. At an altitude of 2750m, you will feel how close you are to the clouds. The observatory is located here, as this place was chosen by scientists as the most ideal for stargazing. Enjoy nature to the fullest, lie down on this fresh grass, sit on a cozy picnic, and relax from the bustle of the city.
