Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ust-Kamenogorsk
Bukhtarma is a confluent river to Irtysh, one of the biggest rivers in Kazakhstan. While travelling to it and Serebryansk city on its bank we will see quick change of landscape from flat land to high mountains with several serpentine passes. We will make several photo stops and have improvised lunch outdoors. The power station is impressive, at the same time the area around it is very silent. Beautiful combination!! If we move fast enough, we may have a Ust-Kamenogorsk power station as a bonus.
What's included
The city tour is included as a bonus if we finish early. Normally, after the river 1-3 hours in the city are available. But this time can be used in other way, by walking around the river. Local nature is worth it, really beautiful.
